GB wins this game  ...

It will be a playoff atmosphere game. It will not be an easy walk through the park for the pack. 

Look for a close game where the pack are up by 7 late in the 4th quarter...Minny will not be able to drive and get a game tying touchdown because frankly PONDER is not efficient...

AP is a beast and i hope he smashes the record

Gameover....very possible.  I have been a HUGE crosby fan since they drafted him, and I have no clue what has happened this year!   I think its kind of great how McCarthy has stuck with him, althought I am worried it might cost them in the playoffs.

LGP-- I am one of those Bears fans rooting for the pack today.I am so happy the Bears play first. Detroit could very well smash the Bears who minus the red-hot start have looked like complete terds in the latter half of the season but like Gb they have had many injuries and excuses. With the 430 start I will watch Da Bears and pray they can get it together agaisnt Detroit who are not as bad as they look on paper and pull out a W. At which point I will gladly take out my cheesehead hat which is reserved for losers of lost bets to be worn in shame, normally, but will wear it in the spirit of a true, cocky, hillbilly, bang your sister, kick the dog, and pass out in the front lawn , GB fan like all the rest of you.but if the Bears lose, I'll make excuses for Cutler, girl about the O-line, and reassure myself Lovie is still the best couch in the league and Go Vikes!

Dope--pretty sure GB fell to -1 against Chicago two weeks ago  and despite the final score that game was a blowout

 

Oldstyle--Very true.  People think I am just a homer for saying it, but I dont think the Bears are good.  They played BAD teams to start the season.  Car handed them home wins.  I dont think they will win today.  Like you said, despite their record Det is tough.  Pretty sure they have 8 losses by 7 or less.  If Chicagos D doesnt score atleast 1, they dont win in my opinion.  It is funny around here right now.  So many people last night were saying how hard it will be to root for GB.  Obviously, I think GB rolls today.  They play great indoors

 

Going to be a great day for football!!!   What a way to spend the day hungover

Hair o da dog- I'll crack open a fully krausened Oldstyle and you can enjoy your blatz sittin next to your bloody mary-  Bears win or lose my  is on GB, Ar turns it up when necessary and a bye is a huge deal for the pack with all the returning starters/. i am torn on the total leaning under any thoughts- i like to toss in a small parlay wit me straight wagers

Minnesota will hit discount double check many times as they did in the first meeting - do you actually think they will risk him getting hurt?  If he is hit more than 3 or 4 times in the first half, I wouldn't be surprised if they rest him - GB doesn't need this game, the Vikes do - The Vikes shouldv'e beat them in GB if Ponder wasn't focused on getting married.  Marriage is done, he's played better since that game (think he's only thrown 1 pick in the last 3 games) and Vikes have only lost 1 at home this year and their D has been lights out the past few weeks.

The half is the bet here as the Vikes beat them the first half last time they play and have been romping teams in the first half the past few weeks

OldStyle----no bloody for me, cant stand the tomato juice.  Just alittle Goose, Cucumber and soda water, so tasty!!!   Yeah, same thing that happened with the Bears/GB line.  People keep thinking this GB team is overrated.

Never said GB has nothing to play for - it comes down to protecting Rogers for a playoff run or keeping him in there if he is getting pounded - don't know if Matthews is going to make that much of a difference, in stopping AP yes but if Ponder play actions, bootlegs, and screens them to death like he's be able to do the past few weeks, Vikes will be able to put up points

They kind of do.....I think in the end they would much rather play SF in GB again than have to travel to SF if it led to that....

Matthews improves this defense by 1000000%, and Shields is playing lights-out on the outside.  Having Matthews back improves the run defense so much, opening up the guys inside.   Look what Raji has done since he has come back

 

Im rooting for AP to break the record, but it wont matter
