Anyone who didn’t see Jax just trying to hang on in the 2nd half will never get it.  Just like Atlanta, it’s called a prevent.  It prevents you from winning.  Take a look at total yards in the 4 Q and one will see why the Pats were victorious.  When Jack got that turnover and the Jax O DID NOTHING with that gift the writing was on the wall.

Lesson: Don’t let defending SB champions hang around when you are playing them at their home.  When a boxer has his opponent on the ropes and beating him in the corner he doesn’t back off.  Jax did just that.

The difference is if I went to a casino and found out the roulette table was using magnets to control the ball or a dealer was controlling the deal or cuts or the slot machines were programmed not to pay out unless programmed to do so.
I wouldn’t go if I felt something shady was going on
You on the other hand think something funny is going on, yet comes in here to rant about what you believe to be fixed but still feed the monster

The simple question is why do you continue to bet on something that you believe to be crooked?

Who exactly is fixing the games?  The commissioners office?  Do you know who the commissioner works for, how hes elected, and how he keeps his job?  How hes reelected?  What motivation would they have to pick the Patriots as the winners every year, please explain.

Not gonna bother reading everything word for word in this thread up to this point, because it's likely nothing I haven't already read during the past few weeks. Congrats to anyone who was on the right side of both games yesterday. DoubleUp, you seem like a good dude and as I've said before... I don't blame anyone for being suspicious about this stuff. Lots of things in life are not as they appear and I would not be surprised one bit if you were right about the officials 'influence' on the outcome of these games. Do I think there is a script? No. Do I think the players & coaches are actors? No. Do I think there are scenarios that the league could perceive as being more desirable than others? Absolutely. Do I think officials are directed to influence game outcomes accordingly? Dunno, but I tend to doubt it based on their part-time status. Do I think the league is 'in bed' with 'Vegas'? Absolutely not. Oddsmakers are very good at tapping into the perception we all share regarding these match-ups (for example: such & such is gonna blow out such & such) and they most definitely shade the lines accordingly. For instance, without so much as capping any particular aspect of the upcoming Super Bowl, I am already leaning Iggles +whatever. Like any good gambler I will wait to see how much value I can get, but my first impression when I saw NE -5.5 was that they should have no problem covering. Hence, I will fade my own perception. If I'm right, it will not be because the game was fixed, but rather it will be because oddsmakers already shaded the line more toward NE than it probably should have been, based on our blind perception. Now if I'm wrong of course it was rigged! lol

Wouldn’t you agree that a Brady Brees super bowl would have had better ratings than this one. So why didn’t the league make that happen?

    Ps don’t say script writers
    It makes you sound dopey

Jax has a 10 pt lead in the 4th Q and recovers a fumble when NE was driving to kill their momentum and somehow the game was fixed.

Yeah, Jax had it “fixed” in their minds that the game was over. 67 yds of offense with only 2 first downs.  Sounds like losing stats to me.

Still havent heard who specifically is fixing/scripting these games?  Cant be the league as they are controlled by the owners, do you mean to tell me a seal team of owners is clandestinely making decisions and fixing the games for themselves?  Is Kraft in on it?  Rooney?  Tish/Marra?  Wouldn't they be committing federal crimes and open themselves up to prosecution?   Why would multi billionaire risk jail for the benefit of a few?  Why would the owners who are on the outside vote to reelect Goodell? He needs 51% of the votes for reelection.  Please, someone explain the idiocy of how this happens.....

You can not just make up a senerio that never happened in the game and claim that as some kind of proof.

But that is exactly what the fix is in crowd does, you just did it, we don't need any more proof to see you just did it..........................

Exactly, the fix is in crowd ignores info that says no fix and only looks for info that can be made into a fix or they make up a senerio to claim a fix would have been in as the poster just did.

That fumble could have been over-turned if the refs wanted to claim he had control with the ball trapped against his body.

And the refs on the field could of ruled no fumble if they were trying to help Pats, that play was very close when seen in full speed from 1 angle they could easily made it no fumble and replay could of ruled inconclusive, but they did none of that.

Any penaility that is big yardage penaility  especially putting A team inside the 10 yard line or 5 yaRD line can be made out after the game is played as a critical time penaitity.

You have a case of hindsight bias based on knowing the result after the game was over, does not prove anything.

Had the team ahead by 14 pts got that same penaility it could be said after the team went up by 21 and then after the game was over, now your armed with the info of how the game went from that penality to end that one call made the team ahead win with a big cusion and came  at................... a crtritical time ..................to stop the comeback of the other team.

Very clasic case of hindsight bias clouding your judgement of that penality.

Jags were in a great spot to win this game SU and DID NOT MAKE THE PLAYS TO DO IT, Pats did ...............end of the story.

And the penalties came at CRITICAL JUNCTURES.

Brady is the movie star that brings in attention and fandom. This is about attention and revenue, not finding out the best football team.

The Jags were the best FB team out there, and w/o penalties, it would have proven itself on the scoreboard. As a linesplayer....you must play the games that are unscripted. Potentially scripted games must be avoided. The SB is unbettable,  as are these Div Championships.

Look. Listen. "Star Wars" is not real. "Avengers" is not real. Your "Super Bowl" is not real. They are revenue generating machines.
