Last week I told you that the Jets +9 would be my biggest play of the year. I told you exactely why and also said they WILL, not might, win the game outright if the D played as bitter and focused as they sounded all week leading up to the game...
Last week was an emotional game for the Jets. It wasnt just a playoff game...it was personal. Normally, I would fade the Jets this week fearing an emotional let down but this isnt your same old Jets, this isnt just another game. This is a Championship game. So I throw that possibility out the window.
The Jets have not said a word all week in terms of trash talking. But I have listened to them all week and have read the quotes...this team is on a mission ladies. They are focused. For all the shit they get for being an arrogant, trash talking team...this team has pretty much been focused and disciplined all year.
Its evident that this is there yr. Look at all the crazy comebacks. The revenge against Manning and Pretty Boy. Now they get to show the world that they can go punch for punch with probably one of the toughest teams in the league. That is this games motivation for them along with this being for a trip to the dance. All they hear about how tough Pitt is. They are going to keep punching Pitt in the face this game watch. Its going to be a rough nasty game.
The difference to me is that the Jets have the better offense. Theyre o line is light years better than the Steelers as well.
The Jets play with a chip on there shoulder. Us against them mentality all yr. They are not only going to win this game but they will win it rather comfortably.
The Jets are going to the superbowl.
