I like Denver at home, I am seeing +9.5 now.   Pitt is not the Pitt they use to be.  Their defense is so much more beatable and with Tebows speed he may be able to put up enough to keep this game close and a easy cover.  I have not bet Denver yet as I have never been a believer.  I just think its too many points at home in the playoffs for a guy who (ok this is hard for me to say) is a game changer.  And Pitt is slacking on offense this year too.  They're  not bad but  should be better and Ben is still hurting if Denver plays any defense this once again should be a easy cover.

You might have won with the Saints 2 weeks ago on Monday night but you will lose your money on the Saints vs the Lions................

Only twice has the #1 seed from either side not been in the super bowl past 13 years. The #1 seed from either conference has been in the big game 11 of the past 13 years & 17 of the past 21 years.

Since taking over, Tebow has led the Broncos to under 14 points a game against above average defenses (Detroit, KC, Jets, Chicago, and Buffalo being the ones that qualify)....Even if Pitt isn't as elite as they used to be, they should still fare well against Tebow.

Do I think the Broncos win this game? No but I did get a rile out of a lot of people after I said they would...........if I bet this game, it will be on the Broncos +8 for a small wager but waiting on the result of the Lions bet.

I do agree that Tebow will have a tough time against the Steelers defense............the Broncos & Tebow have gotten beat the last 3 weeks of the season & I just cant see Tebow getting clocked again..........how do I see it...........

I see Tebow marching hot team down the field on the last drive of the game to tie the game up or take the lead with a td but end up short & lose by 3 to 6 points............

The reason that Tebow had all the fourth quarter success was that teams went from pressure to contain defensive packages. Tebow plays horribly against pressure and well against contain. Really is as simple as that. Hey, "any given Sunday," but I'd be FLOORED if they do any better than backdoor cover.

Prime, I agree with you on ATL, HOU, and DEN.

I think Detroit could make it close, with Delmas, Suh, and Houston being in the lineup for this one. Still, I don't have the balls to go against NO in the dome.

Prime I would be shocked if Denver scored more than 13 points. Why do you like them against Pittsburgh? I think the Steelers stop the run and force 2+ turnovers.

Looking at the x's & o's, the Steelers should win in a low scoring game & if Denver turns the ball over 3 or 4 times, it could be a blow out. The Key in this game is Denvers defense...........if this defense steps it up, it will be a tight game, if not, well, a long day for Tebow.......

This will be a small play because I have several systems favoring Denver..............

The only pointers ptb should be giving out is how to flush a bankroll. You keep fading the saints in the dome, you would think you wouldve learned your lesson.

It was the only time you faded them but you lost a big chunk of your bankroll. I dont understand why people over analyze games. Drew fucking Brees is 8 and 0 ats at home this year so why the fuck would anyone in their right mind put their hard earned money against him. Ride the streak brother and enjoy the winnings. And if anybody were to come close to beating the saints at home it would be a team with a good defense not the swiss cheese defense of the detroit lions. Detroit will need to put up at least 30 in this game to cover and i dont see that happening.

Superbowl XLIV - Saints (Both teams were #1 seed so it had to happen)

    Superbowl XXXVIII - New England

This statistic is talking about winning SU......So I guess if GB is playing anyone but NE, the bet should be agasint GB right?.... .... since the spread will definately have GB giving points,  taking the points with the other team would be the play based entierly on this statistic.

I see Prime's point here - the odds are saying that if NO are 8-0 ATS, they might not cover sometimes and he is suggesting it is now. Well, I think you suggested it against the Falcons too, right? That's why I don't like following trends, or whatever - I like to look at the teams and think about their condition. The only way Lions are able to beat NO is to outscore them, so as I said before the best bet here is over 58.5. I don't like playing spread against Brees, ML, or even tease the points against Brees - this is looking like his season and I think that New Orleans will win the NFC. And they will meet Brady in the Superbowl and we'll see what will happen then, but I think that the Saints are the best team in the league right now and the only tough game will be against San Francisco, because the only team that outscored Drew this year was the Packers in the first round - then Drew played excellent, but Rogers and his receivers were a little better. So if you look at that stats - how many teams can outscore the Saints in a shootout? Probably the Packers and the Patriots - no other team can keep on scoring along when Brees is on fire. So I think that playing the Lions ML or spread is simply dangerous. And about Tebow beating the Steelers - hope you're kidding, right? No chance in hell that rushing clown scores more than 2 times against that d-fense. He couldn't score more than 1 time vs the Chiefs in one of the most important games of his career and you're saying he'll beat Big Ben & co? Come on, man, get serious, we're talking real money here, not Skittles.

Just for the record, I am teasing the Saints, I am pretty confident DET has NO chance. I do think Saints could cover, but I am a little reserved about laying all those points.
I think they will cover, I think it will be a blowout, but I have a teaser going and I may lay a little on the Saints -11.

Prime, this would be a devastating loss for you after you ATL bet...tread lightly, betting against the Saints at home is borderline nuts...there has to be something you like better, or something worth waiting for.

    Either way GL.

Prime I posted this on another thread. I don't want a slanging match with you. Let's debate football..

These silly theories and looking for things that simply are not there.Saints have been blowing teams away because they are a good football team. The Lions were desperate to win yesterday. Win and they are away to New York/Dallas and they would fancy their chances and have momentum going into the playoffs. Lose and its off to to a 13-3 team on fire and a serious dent to the confidence.

Don't over think (that is what you are doing) the facts are simple. Detroit couldn't beat a team playing backups with nothing to play for. They now have to go on the road to the hottest team in football. People are focusing way to much a last year, which has nothing whatsoever got to do with this year. The Saints will use last year as motivation, that's the only stat you have to worry about from last year. The Lions have already been beaten by the Saints and this is the last place they would have wanted to go (bar Green bay)..

The problem for Detroit is that they are far too one dimensional. They don't have a rushing game, so the Saints can afford to drop extra players back in coverage. Detroit is 26th against the rush and I see NO running more then expected. If the run gets going how can they stop Brees? They can't. New Orleans is a FAR better football team then Detroit. That is the only stat that matters. So far this season anytime Detroit has faced top ranked opposition it hasn't covered the spread. The line is set this high to reel in the Lions Backers and it seems many on this site has fallen for the Line.

Fade Detroit in a dome against a top team always! If you don't have balance on offense against the top teams you get exposed (as has been proven)..This will be Detroit playing catchup and Stafford making mistakes. Saints will win by more then 14 this time...

Good football teams don't lose must win games against their biggest rivals playing backups! This is the point that is just not registering with you.

If they win they have a legitimate shot at beating the Giants and then who knows. They haven't beaten (or covered the spread) against the elite teams in the NFC. Green Bay, San Francisco, New Orleans. They couldn't get it done last week when they badly needed to and know you expect a team who hasn't shown any kind of winning mentality against the top teams to suddenly turn it on!

The public preception that Detroit is not a very good team is spot on and I am quite sure will cost you again. There is no hidden agenda or secret here. Even if Detroit covers, New Orleans was the correct play pre game based on Factual Evidence...

    1) New Orleans has covered the spread in every home game this season..
    2) Detroit has failed to cover the spread against the better teams this season....

To bet against New Orleans (even if you are lucky enough to get a back door cover) is the incorrect play and your reasons for playing it are either invalid of incorrect...Detroit is too one demensional on offence and too atrocious on defense to keep this close..
