Playoff football is here and while the NFC seems wide open, most of penciled in an AFC Championship featuring Brady vs. Peyton. Hard to argue with that matchup playing out, but I'm all about playing devil's advocate to public perception.
Houston Texans to win AFC +700 (4 units to win 28)
more on this one in a bit..
Saturday Wildcard Plays
Houston Texans -4 (30 units to win 28.57)
First Score of Game - FG or Safety +130 (7 units to win 9.1)

Like it a lot Spaz... Every game Houston has lost this year has been to a team thats made the playoffs.. Shaub, hasnt performed great as of late, but i still trust him more than Dalton in this spot.. You cant deny since Cincy came off the buy, their defense has been playing at another level, but they are 6-2 on the road and i really don't see them getting to 7-2 after this game.. -4 is always a key number.. I think houston wins by 3-7 points in the end, Cincy's defense will show up but i'm all over Houston ML - 200 thats a bargain for the season they have had..

kimoins - agree with you on the Packer love. AP has shredded them twice this year, not sure why that will change tonight. Still looking over things there, but GB is still a team without a running game. And going against the MVP without that and laying near DD.. scary.
Mugsey - I don't think the Texans are going to lose, but i'd likely take teaser 2 as protection

Phark - certainly struggled down the stretch but I could still argue top to bottom this is the best team in the AFC. Nothing at all impressive about Cincy's. road performance down the stretch. This isn't Philly SD or even Pitt. Big step up in class today

The kid - good stuff buddy

Gl Spaz...I believe Houston's late struggles are more of a reality than an anomaly. Not sure if I will be on the Bengals, but Houston has a ton of holes in their secondary and a faltering offense with a run game that isn't like years past. The question is, can Andy Dalton take advantage of it with a mediocre run game?

Houston likely is going to win. Will they cover? Not sure... Think this line is making people guess against Cinci. Can't see both favs covering today. Feel fairly confident Green Bay will win and cover against an emotionally drained Vikings team.
Taking Cinci +4.5

But here is a food for thought. The Texans at the end of the season had lost 3 of the 4 games entering into the playoffs. There had been 28 teams that had accomplished that feat in the past entering the playoffs and only 1 team had more than 1 win during the playoffs. In other words, how you play at the end of a season may carry over how you play during the playoffs. I chose the Gmen last year to win all the year for that particular reason.
I had Texans going on the way since beginning of the year and I will be playing Texans today too but I am
Goodluck buddy.

Hard to lay money down on a team that has lost 3 of 4, and has seen Qb's Jake Locker and Christian Ponder pass for more yards than Matt Schaub in recent games.
