Week 7 and down 23 units. No more time for playing around. If you’ve been following don’t quit yet, we’ll turn this around very quickly.

New York Giants @ Dallas Cowboys (big play #3)

Been waiting for this one to hit 7 all week. You won’t find a better spot to back the Giants all year. I noticed a few people saying the Giants will beat the Cowboys this weekend, but no real reason as to why. I’ll be taking them for a large 7 units, so I’ll give 7 reasons why I love them.

Reason #1, everyone knows how the Cowboys went into Seattle and beat them. It takes a lot of energy and effort just to play in Seattle as they are easily the most physical team in the league. I went back and tested this and since 2010 – home favorites after playing in Seattle are 2-11 ATS.

Reason #2, this is a must-win for the Giants. The Cowboys and the Eagles are now atop the division at 5-1, while the Giants have a possibility to drop to 3-4 and three games back in the division. They will be all-in here.

Reason #3, the Giants got embarrassed on SNF this past weekend, scoring a whopping 0 points. Certain Road Dogs coming off a game as an underdog where they scored 0 points are 27-5 ATS.

Reason #4, the Cowboys are at there best as underdogs, but they have one of the worst records in the league in recent years as a favorite. Since Jason Garrett took over the helm in 2010, the Cowboys are the worst in the league against the spread as a Home Favorite at 6-20 ATS.

Reason #5, Victor Cruz. I’ve mentioned it before, but I love backing a team the first game when they lose a star player. Remember my 5 unit play on the Vikings a couple weeks ago in what was Teddy Bridgewater’s first start? The Giants love Victor Cruz, they will rally around him and put a great effort to show they can win without him and for him.

Reason #6, the Giants will be playing with double revenge, as the Cowboys swept them last season for the first time in years.

Reason #7, NY also fits a strong system play of mine which is 78-24 ATS and 10-1 ATS prior to a bye week.

Reason #8 (bonus), Road dogs with a 40% WP or higher after losing on the road last week are 8-2 ATS prior to a bye week. This makes sense as decent teams hate to go into a bye week off 2 straight road losses. I absolutely love the Giants to cover this inflated spread.

Seattle Seahawks @ St. Louis Rams

Seattle is not the team they were a year ago but people have yet to realize it yet. They’ve lost a total of 11 players that accounted for 58 years of NFL experience since there SuperBowl run, including 3 players that accounted for 11.5 sacks and 91 tackles. There offense has also been terrible as there passing game ranks dead last in the league.

St Louis is perceived as a terrible team, but they’re far from it. I mentioned this earlier, but if the refs didn’t call that offensive pass interference last week that shouldn’t have been a flag, the Rams would have gone up 17-3 or 21-3 at halftime to the 49ers. That call and the subsequent blown coverage leading to a 80 yard TD pass completely deflated the Rams at halftime. San Francisco has more sacks and a better pass defense YPG than the Seahawks thus far, so Austin Davis shouldn’t have a harder time in this game like people think. Divisional home dogs that just lost a game as divisional home dogs have performed exceptionally well over the years.

Yes the Seahawks are off a loss but this is the Rams Superbowl. Rams lose this game and there season is finished. Jeff Fisher has also covered 60% of his games as a coach when his team is an underdog and 67% of games as an underdog against a divisional opponent.

    1:00pm
    Falcons +4 first half (2x)

Looks like you'll be bouncing back in no time with a card like that, LC!
I'll also be on the Giants for sure.  Might play on the Vikes as well.

    GL LC.

like the giants pick. think they bounce back and dal has a letdown. but STL had to also win last week as well, division game, prime time, and they lost. Up big to start the game too and collapsed, think they are done now.  Seattle is off a loss as well and will not lose straight up, the 7 pts is not enough.

Last week was far from a must-win for STL. SF is big dogs in Denver this weekend and have a very good chance of losing SU. Rams beat the Seahawks and there just 1 game back in the loss column to both Seattle and SF. There season is nowhere near over. They lose this game however, and it'll be very tough.

LC, love the Rams pick as that is a division I keep my eyes on. But the NFC East baffles me and though my gut says Giants I am worried that the game has passed Coughlin by (the team is so inconsistent and they sometimes seem ill-prepared, even unmotivated). But if I had to bet I'd bet the Giants because (as you noted) it is an amazing situational spot for them this week. Best of luck.

Great points and great situational spot for Giants

However...this Dallas O-line doesn't mess around. The Cowboys stadium will be the loudest it has ever been in that fairly new stadium. After being called out by Romo and Dez, you can bet the fans will be going crazy when Giants are on offense.

I think it'll be close and they may cover the spread, but I just don't see them beating the red hot Cowboys

Love ur pick on giants LC, I already had big lean on them.

In ur reasoning I only don't like reason #6
Because this happened exactly same for ST Louis last week. Swept by San Fran last year and yet they lost.
I truly believe NY giants is the play with falcons +7.

LC, I've been your supporter for many years throughout thick and thin. Love the angles you take and thought process. You get a lot of haters in your threads but I have never been one of them.
With that said, I must ask, when I've seen you do SO well it has mainly been on the home teams. I don't get why this year you have been backing so many road teams? Yes there are certain situations/trends that favor them, but I think that has been your nemesis this year. Just an observation and I'm curious if you've noticed that as well

LC- it is a great spot for the Giants and agree with your 7 reasons, but we have seen the Giants falter in these type of situations before. They can be very unpredictable. GL this weekend

Interesting play on the Falcons first half, I'm loving the Ravens -6.5(full game) in this spot. Falcons are beat up as hell, I can see Ryan moving the chains with some success but I think the Ravens will eventually get too much pressure on that weak offensive line and the Falcons already porous defense will buckle.

Like all the other plays though! Prefer the under on the Bills game but it should be a tough grind fest decided by a field goal

    21.5 units

    7 units on ONE PLAY

Somehow Nick Saban and a CFB pick has found his way into the thread.

    8 different plays....

At least you gave 8 different bullet points for the giants play which is encouraging...

Well, any advice I ever had for you has officially been tossed out the window like a molatov cocktail

Wait maybe it's even MORE units!

Aren't the units posted units to WIN?

It's actually 24.7 units with the juice.

Wow...almost 25 units. In a single NFL weekend...

    My god...

Risk is spread out over many plays, seems like a lot but normal for me. An average week is 15-20 units if you look back
