Not exactly true,  in a sense it is,  you bet Aaa. And Bbb  wins,
You bet Bbb and Aaa wins, so don't bet at all then. There are better things to do with that money,

As an example I own minimum 4000 shares  AAPL  from Apple Co.   When I first bought two years ago it was at $ 36.75  a share, now it is worth $639.5 a shares.  Do the math.

    Purchase value $ 147,000.00,
    Current vaue. $ 2,558,000.00

    Gain $2,411,000.00

I bought this stocks before sales of iPhone 3G , and even the iPad , because of the craziness in computing tablets and smart phones, that is why you invested in technology, just think of how many iPad or iPhone apple has sold from a two year period?  And also with Samsung stocks, just think how many galaxy s3 phones and LCD tv are sold world wide? You are a stock holder and own shares of the company, that means whatever sales is made, you get a share of that money. And world wide too.
But I wish you all good luck on your money and investment,
Other words invest wisely. Because money does not grow on trees, and doesn't come by easy too.

One word of advice, solar energy is the technology of the future investments, so start when young, and when it matures you have yourself to be thankful, for.  It beats unemployment, pension funds, and do not have to reach 65 years old to retire and to collect pension,

I give you credit for that, Any "fixing" done by actual players on the field is EXTREMELY rare. Even for the refs, it is what the head coaches are ordered for their players to do in the end. The players are just employees, what the coaches says is what counts, take MLB for example, certain batters do not have the green light, to bat, and certain pitcher too, they all awaits the coaches instructions as to what to do in that moment. And if you do not do exactly as said, you get fined for that.  Let say the coach ordered the batter to bunt, but you execute a hit in the outfield, you still get fined for that action, and so on,,,,,

Vegas is always right about the half point in the spread or score,
Although the half point it to break the tie, but do not tell me or any one else that has lost by half point, game after game,  Week after week, even year after year, they can forecast all college football games on Saturday and Sunday, nfl nba, at the same time to be most and so precise by that half point with all those games going on.

Don't mention MLS, soccer, the easiest way is to let the team draw, and your done.

If that is the case I like to join that band wagon, to wherever it treks.

In my opinion not just rich, just to protect the books, that is why we never ever hear a book has gone bankrupt , even though they receive a percentage of the earnings,

If china has minimum 6 billion in population, and I ask of only a dollar from each person then I have 6 billion dollars and if I were to use it on a bet let say tonight Texan vs Jets,  chances are they reject the bet, because it is too big, and chances are they accept it, but the game must be in their favor, because they face bankruptcy , And I guarantee that the bettor if winning, will probably own that bookie, after that. 6 billion is a lot of greens, Most likely it will never happen,

I sold shares of Apple 13 years ago before the Iphone became huge....I will never forgive myself for that one lol

By that time I had a huge mortgage investments , and I was limited,

Wouldn't it be nice if we had that 13 years ago, imagine by now what it would be like?  As it is never too late to start again that is why I mentioned, the solar energy , the best part is to start with building new houses with solar panels, and soon to follow are the homes already exist and  build to date,  imagine driving in your neighborhood and  all the houses you see one day they opt to install solar panels, too, imagine getting a piece of the cake, not only does it save the household on electric bills, but in case of disaster, and there is no power supply, you still have the option of the power supply from your own solar panels, not to mention you own iPhone, laptops etc, that needs to be charged,? There you have saved yourself from despair,
After a disaster  the sun is the one that always comes up anyway,

Of course they do. If it not fix how are the owner of the team pay for their players with million. I don't think, just selling team merchandise and ticket selling will be enough for the overhead cost. Their referee are the main tool for the league. When we understand this concept then we have better understanding which team to bet on. So its all good with me...Everything is fixed, including the politicians.

don't think there is a conspiracy here,

but i do believe an official can throw a holding flag so easy on any play that if any games are fixed,

if  a game is  fixed , its done by a single individual official for his own personal gain.

,usually not to make a team win or lose, but a flag at the right time line will affect ATS results

.,  last nights Saints chargers game penalty  calls against New Orleans were not called ,and every penalty against the chargers , and some very questionable were called late , and it did affect who won and lost .

you can't tell me it don't happen , we know for a fact it happened in the NBA with Tim Donaghy

When there is sooo much money involved your damn skippy some games are influenced to go a certain way. There is a reason teams cannot question the refs in press conferences and interviews without a large fine. Back up refs non union and a tin of shit talking

Thanks to everyone who stopped in and posted their ideas and comments.  The truth is(IMO); gambling is always going to be a risk, any team can win, injuries and bad calls will effect the outcome of a game as will the occassional douchebag who decides to pocket some money or gets threatened to do something to change the outcome of a game. There has been and will continue to be corruption within pro sports, I just hope that it becomes less and less over time.  Is it gloing to stop me from gambling?  No, but it will make me manage my money a lot better and look for good spots to try and make a buck...I wish everyone good luck!

i am not here to speak about if sports are fixed, but on this point.

you all have a grave misunderstanding of how easy it is to blackmail someone.  all you need do is let them know you have information about them that they absolutely do not want anyone to know about--hit-n-run accident, pedophilia, asian hooker junket, murder, wife beating, etc.

the blackmailer does not need to threaten the victim or even make face-to-face or phone contact in order to make it known he has such info and how the victim can prevent this knowledge from becoming public.  it is very simple and very effective.

Apple was nowhere near $36.75 a share 2 years ago.

, it was actually Shares traded above $200 for the first time in October 2009. At this time three years ago, shares traded at just $78.20.

you all have a grave misunderstanding of how easy it is to blackmail someone.  all you need do is let them know you have information about them that they absolutely do not want anyone to know about--hit-n-run accident, pedophilia, asian hooker junket, murder, wife beating, etc.

the blackmailer does not need to threaten the victim or even make face-to-face or phone contact in order to make it known he has such info and how the victim can prevent this knowledge from becoming public.  it is very simple and very effective.

casinos and sport books love idiots who doesn't believe games are fixed.  Do you serious think it will be that easy to prove it's fixed?  Otherwise, all these dumbshit wouldn't be betting and vegas will lighting candles instead of fancy lights.  Well, then why bet when it's fixed?  Because it is all about being on the right side of the fence.  The right side is the side with less money.
