The Seattle Seahawks have had a great run.Their defense has held up well and I think Russell Wilson is the rookie of the year in my opinion. They beat a lot of good teams to make it to the divisional stage of the playoffs and they were my BIGGEST BET last week. Today they face a Falcons team which has been under valued at times and overvalued at times and maybe have been a little inconsistent in their performances by playing to the level of their competition. A lot has been talked about the Seahawks being in the divisional round of the playoffs due to the injured RG3 starting for the redskins and I do agree a TD in the 2nd quarter by the redskins would have put them away or made it very difficult for them. The seahawks are a simply a bad road team and this week they face a team which is exceptionally good at home and they had no losses at the dome apart from the meaningless loss to the bucaneers the week before postseason. I'm a firm believer that the level of play of a good defensive goes down a notch when they are playing away from home and their surroundings. This Seattle defense on the road faces a Falcons team which has way too many weapons on offense.Russell Wilson will have a big play or two to keep them close but I see this Atlanta team dominating them from the start and the injury to Clemons will further weaken their pass rush. Very simply I don't see Atlanta loosing tomorrow when they have had so much time preparing for this game and hearing everyone talking about Matt Ryan never winning a playoff game. Nothing like added motivation and he will play with a chip on his shoulder. Atlanta -2 is a GIFT. I would grab it and go LARGE on it.
Texans @ Patriots
Texans played the Patriots a few weeks ago and got blown away to oblivion.Texans notoriously play bad against good passing offenses. Matt Shcaub rolls into the fetal position at the very sight of a pass rush. Texans only have one legit wide receiving threat in Andre Johnson.
All of the above is true BUT everything mentioned above becomes irrelevant the moment the Texans are playing with a lead. Their offense becomes more fluid, defense starts playing better and they play their A game on both ends of the ball. The Texans were a 3-5 point dog when both teams met earlier and now they are laying +9.5??? Has the team changed so much in a months period? Yes they were in a slump but this is the playoffs people and the texans will bring their A game and biggest thing for me is that the surprise factor is gone. These teams played a few weeks ago, texans got blown out and they know exactly what to prepare for and I really feel Wade Phillips and his defense will be better prepared for Tom Brady and the offense this time around. This will be a much closer game and the texans should keep this within 10 and if they get to a good start, they can also win this one.
Texans +10( buying hook )
BOL everyone!
