@T3PeteDawg
If you don't mind the original bet amount and price offered by the book?
@Ppkay
You already made the bet. You were pretty confident when you made it.
I think that most people making 5 leg parlay bets are not confident in the play.
So he leveraged bigger odds for a less likely outcome but is now well posture for make whatever x (reason I asked the above question).
@T3PeteDawg
So determine if you want to be a gambler or run your operation like a busines. Your subsequent posts about sides suggest the former and that's cool.
My thoughts Cincinnati is a mess at the moment but have had a couple weeks to gel with the new QB. Denver has played above average and come up a little short, so they'll have a little fire. Altitude tends to always play a factor. 7.5 lines tend to have blowout potential.
If it's me, I would find an amount that I could live with, above my original bet, and put it on the other side. Then I would let the bet roll to satisfy what seems to be a need to be right. That way if Denver wins, you're right and made bank. If Cincinnati wins/covers you also made money....and your ego will recover.
Just remember what I said initially, I do not believe anyone makes a 5 team parlay knowing they'll win vs. hoping, so use this great position you've postured to capitalize on the book.
I'll be rooting for Denver for you.

@unplucked_gem
I greatly appreciate the "fingers crossed" for Denver. What you were saying above... I absolutely took the low wager high reward option when originally playing the parlay. Sometimes Ive gotten lucky and hit the bigger parlays but more often than not they are just "Lets give it a go" type bets. I just happened to hit 4 of the 5 yesterday and am only awaiting Denver to cover now.

I don't judge play amounts, I'm here to smash the book not other bettors.
I will share that this year, I started making the final leg of a 4+ parlay a ML pick for this exact reason. No expectations of them hitting but if we get to the last one, we're making good money on our terms for either outcome.
But you're offer was at +1100 and your bet +2400. So if it were me, I could live with betting Cincinnati +7.5 for $100
BTW, looking good on the play.

Man I greatly appreciate the advice. Thats not a bad idea at all making the last leg a ML. I can't even begin to tell you just how many parlal I have misse dout on hitting because of that final team. I normally on bet on College Football but even that has become more and more difficult since NIL. This is me and my wifes seasonal hobby actually...betting on College games. Just this past weekend I missed a 6 leg parlay with Stanford -3...they won 30-29. That ML last leg owuld have made me some great money. Definitely going to have to implement that one.
Again, I appreciate the responses and all the advice man! GO BRONCOS!!

How dare anyone ask the collaborative of gamblers quite literally on a forum discussing different plays theyve made and not made when there are self made gods like yourself on here. What in the world was I thinking?! Ill quit gambling when I lose.

Do yourself a favor next time you bet on a 5 leg parlay. Ask yourself a question and be honest with yourself. If the first 4 legs hit are you going to consider cashing out? If the answer is yes then just leave the last leg off. There’s nothing wrong with hitting a 4 leg parlay and taking your money to the bank.
But when you make a bet like that you obviously liked it when you made it. You had done everything right up to that point. So why cheat yourself? Why pay a tax to the book when you put yourself in a great position to beat them? In gambling you must accept that you are risking your money and be prepared to lose it. Cash outs are a way for the books to buy you out for less than your bet is worth. They don’t offer cash outs to help you, they offer them to help themselves. There’s nothing they love more than seeing someone bet a 5 team parlay and cash out after the first 4 legs hit…for less than the payout of a 4 team parlay.
This is my opinion on the matter. Everyone has a different financial situation and $17 and $186 may be a significant amount to you. At the end of the day do what’s right for your financial situation, but if you can afford the loss don’t sell out. Beat the books and make them pay you for your work.

And one more thing if I may. The book is confident that if you cash out for $186, you’ll bet it on something else anyway. Either all at once or over a period of time. On bets that they will charge you a vig on…again! Good luck.

I’d say 90% on here aren’t miserable. We have families, enjoy sports, like to put a little action to make the game interesting. I review post to see if I’m way out of left field with my picks.
not that it matters now since you hit, but I agree with most who said hedge by betting the other side and solving until you get similar payout either way. Good luck my guy, nice hit
