I still fail to see how that playcall increased their win probability. It actually guaranteed that they were in danger of losing for the entire rest of the game right til the last second.
This coach is a clown, he'll be done in two years. He should already be gone after sending Tua out to get his brain scrambled two weeks in a row.
This is the last time I put my hard earned at risk on an NFL game. I would rather just get blown out then lose because a coach won't do the thing that a coach has always done for decades upon decades. And I'm not going to pretend like a game where no one scored the entire 2nd half was exciting because it came down to the last drive, again, just like all these primetime games do.
If you watch the games there's not only an epidemic of going for it on 4t down and going for 2 pters at strange times, but there's an epidemic of teams doing absolutely nothing on offense all 2nd half, especially teams with the lead. This game we were treated to two teams doing it..one of which has the fastest players in the NFL, going against a fairly pedestrian defense.
How did they go marching down the field so easily 1st quarter and then just forget how to move the ball?
We're all being suckered. The new 'aggressive' football is just another way to keep the games close and keep us watching iphone ads. Imagine how many of those you've had to sit through already this year. While you watch a game where no one scores a single point for an hour and a half.
Time to find a new hobby.
