I'm thinking they may be. Let me explain. Sometimes Vegas wants the sheep corralled to one side. They do this by setting the line where they know one side will be bet heavier. Vegas is gonna win more of these than they lose. Yesterday, the sheep were loaded on PIT, GB, BALT, CHI. Vegas would have made good money anyway, but they really cleaned house on all the GB moneyline and teasers!!
Anyway, single game nights are always a good place for dog and unders. Vegas knows that John Q typically plays fav and over. Therefore the fav is always1-3 points too high and the total too. Over a season, this will insure Vegas to not lose too much on these high profile games. I hardly ever take a Fav or an over on a single game night, too many other good spots to look for in a week.
This MNF game really confuses me. Does Vegas really want that much HOU action? Doesn't seem like they set the line for 50/50 at all. I would have thought 10.5 easy...
Are they that confident that the Jets will show up, or is it a double-cross booby trap inversion conversion that they made so obvious to try and get John Q to scream trap, therefore getting him to actually bet a trap game....then skull FUKK him by actually letting HOU cover? That may have been the best run on ever for me!! lol.
I don't need any help, so don't confuse me any more!!
Screw it, I'm sticking to my original play. Got Jets at +8 and +9. And last leg of teasers at +21, +21.
GO JETS....at least keep your sorry asses within 19. Thats better than all the other patsies the TEX crew has bullied this yr.
What's y'alls thoughts?

Jets very well may get crushed, but two things I'm fairly sure of....1) the Jets are better than they were last week with a bunch of turnovers and the score got run up in the 4thQ. and 2) HOU hasn't proved a damn thing yet, given their schedule.

@hawgpix: "double-cross booby trap inversion conversion", you say?
I agree with you. There's just too many real-world factors today that points towards Houston covering the line (-9 for me). Situations are one thing, capability is something else. Good luck...

Not playing any games. Trying to figure who's gonna win one. You have the 2-2 blown out Jets on one side. The 4-0ATS and SU, Texans on the other. I agree that HOU looks much better, and definitely is the BETTER team. But, it's not always the size of the dog in the fight. This Jets team has their back against the wall. 2-3 will not mean their season is over, but they just got bitch-slapped last week. The Jets are trying to save face as well. Don't see HOU being the hungriest team tonight. This could make a difference.

Stichael,,,,Granite.... wasn't meaning anything negative by using word sheep. Sorry if I offended. I even had a very small play on PIT yesterday. Was just saying those were popular plays.
