so watching last nights game ive realized jeff fisher wants the titans to fail. im sure anyone watching agrees. your down 2 possessions and one timeout. your around the 20 yard line with about a little over 40 seconds left on the clock. the smartest thing you do is take the field goal and go for the on side kick and if you can get the onside kick you have time to march down the field or atleast do a hail mary. thats so easy to tell that anyone that knows about football would make that call...why keep trying to get into the endzone? what is the point at that moment when your down two possessions?? do you not want your team to win....so jeff lets his qb throw and burn valuable time. they had a great chance to win the game if they kicked the field goal but instead decided to try to get into the endzone, which at the end resulted in a touchdown but with no time left on the game..... now i wanna say i lost money on the game by that move but if i was a titans fan or even a football fan with knowledge i would of been pissed about his call. i just see it as a dumb ass move. thank you jeff fisher for making me realize how much of an idiot you are for not allowing yur team a chance to win. you got your td that you wanted so badly but hello, theres no time left to try to get your onside kick to win. great coaching.......idiot

Jeff Fisher is one of the better coaches in the NFL. The fact that you- whoever you are- is making fun of him or telling him how to do something different is hilarious. I guess you are right, but everyone else in the NFL who thinks he is a good coach is wrong. Man I need to come to covers more often so I can find out what coaches and players are good and who aren&#x27;t by people that have little to no knowledge that is applicable to the NFL other than what they see on TV. Great post. What&#x27;s you next post, Bill Bellicheck sucks as a coach?

WHat make it even worse is he intially started to send the fg unit on the field. Then changed his mind. Was a no brainer kick the fg, but these teams just dont seem to make that choice.....ever............ just like when they losing by 1 and they dont let them score the TD to get the ball back. When that situation comes up, you see them do it 1 out of every 10 times at most. No lets stop them from scoring and lose by 1

As far as winning the game goes, They only had about 30 seconds to figure out if they should go for the TD or the FG. Yes the "Proper" thing to do is kick the FG, but when you are that close, you almost have to get that TD. I am sure most coaches down 2 scores would have done the same thing.

So he made a decision to take one more stab at it and it didn't work so then they really didn't have enough time to do shit except try and get it in the endzone.

I wish the Colts would have missed that last field Goal....

ill tell you why he didnt kick the field goal because more money was bet on indy.games are fixed not all and maybe not many but games are definitely fixed. you tell me how the game itself was never in doubt and the spread was only 3 but yet they still dont cover? i know people say they make too much money and this and that to fix games but i dont care what walk of life and what line of work when money is involved in anything there is always some form of corruptness.just remember martha stewart who is a billionaire went to prison over 440k worth of money so dont tell me that a guy making a few hundred thousand or even a guy making 10 mil a year isnt capable of fixing games. we always think that atheletes make too much money yet none of us know their financial situations. lets remember one thing the only reason the nfl is as popular as it is is because of gambling so gambling controls the nfl. and if your wondering i didnt have any money on that game.

After the FG and recovered onside kick, he'd need to get the ball 60 yards for the game winning TD. If he went for the TD first, he'd need to move the ball 20 yards for the TD + another 20 after the onside kick for a FG. So it was a choice between having to move the ball 40 yards or having to move it 60.

I think he made the right choice...although it was a close call. I think you all are really overlooking the fact that this was unlikely to succeed either way. If he had kicked, got the onside kick and then moved the ball into FG range again, I'm sure a number of people would be saying "should have gone".

It isn&#x27;t like the Titans had been scoring TD&#x27;s on a regular basis before the game with the Colts, so you have to take advantage of the field position that you have...
