I just wanted to point out what Saint_John said on one of his recent post. As a Saints fan, he is justifying what I am trying to say.
"What? you don't think Minny has a chance? If Vilma is out that is a HUGE problem for the Saints. They can't stop the run worth a damn as it is. I can easily see Saints come out rusty and Minny controling the clock.
I'll wait until the final injury report is out and see where the line takes me. Colston with bad ribs, No Sharper. BTW...Bobby McCary who beat up n Farve so badly in that game is gone. Replaced with Alex Brown (Ex Bear). Minny knows him well."

agree 100%! Favre isn't ready cardio-wise or physically to go the whole game. Same D coordinator calling plays that put Favre on his ass. I'm not a Saints fan, but I'm probably betting them.

I am a big Favre fan but can't see how he could be ready, very disappointed they didn't give him time in last game just get back into the speed of the game. Not worried about Favre getting roughed up after 300+ starts he has seen it all. I have the same disappointment for the majority of the teams but with favre it was even shorter. I have to guess they will stay conservative but can't see that working with the saints.
The ridiiculous thing is thing is that the saints are the team to beat and very few people are saying that. They won the superbowl and lost nothing, it shows how ridiculous the media is. The also beat the colts straight up, the other favorite so there is no reason to question them.

The Vikings are going to be a solid over play against any team with a viable offense and offensive line. They will score off big plays and punt or turn the ball over when they don't get the big play (until they are in full force a couple of weeks in. The Saints have too many offensive weapons still and are not going to easy on the scoreboard Thursday against Minny.
Favre won't be ready? Really? Why not? He knows the offense and runs the team even more so than Childress. He has played in the league for 20 years now and didn't exactly need to be at training camp. In fact, it was probably better for his ankle that he didn't participate (he was in limbo supposedly then anyway). If your citing preseason for why he 'won't be ready' then the Colts are in a heap of sh*t.
Last point, why are you wasting your money buying teasers, especially for this game? Pick your spots... if you do the sresearch and like the play, make it. If you don't like it, bet 1st hf or 2nd hf action if you just want the action on the game. The Saints are o/u14pts, -115 for the 1st hf Thursday. I'd much rather take the Over on that bet than to play with a teaser on this game.
Any line that you're not comfortable with is a bad bet. After all else is done, trust your intuition and run with it.
