Eli with a very good defense > Smith with a great defense

I think Eli being elite and very hot right now will be the difference in this game along with 2 elite receivers..

Niners can go through long stretches without moving the ball and have multiple 3 and outs..

Alex Smith is the type of QB who will look to throw to 1 receiver and if he isnt open throw it away.. He did well with a bum Saints defense.. Coughlin will have a plan for Davis..


Eli is awesome reading defenses presnap.. I just think they will have a lot more success moving the ball and have big plays here and there.. I see a low scoring game..

Basically I dont think Niners will be able to do anything offensively while Giants do just enough.. A lot more pressure will be on the Niners defense than the Niners.. Cruz and Nicks can score from anywhere on the field.. Eli will get a lot of underneath stuff moving the chains

SF looked HORRIBLE in the 2nd half when they didn't get those turnovers... they couldn't even get a first down for like 4 or 5 possessions until the end of the game... SF will barely score... just don't forget to take into account turnovers

Exactly, Saints had 4-5 turnovers and nearly won! That would have been the first time ever that happened.. If Giants merely protect the ball they should win this one.. But you have to give Niners defense credit, they lay wood and caused those fumbles..

But at the same time, I dont see Giants being careless with the ball, giving up terrible field position like Saints did the first half..

Turnovers are part of the game.Lets not forget The Giants got 4 turnovers from GB and also had 3 fumbles and recovered them all back.Turnovers are also cuased by the team playing D.

Also add to the list.

Dallas and the Jets were messes when the Giants played them.  Atl. only played the worst teams in the league the second half of the season.  They lost to playoff bound teams during that stretch.

Which takes us to GB.  They didn't have their offensive coordinator because his son had just died.  They were all probably affected by that as well.  They were rusty from taking all that time off and it showed.  Dropped passes, Rodgers was clearly not in sync with his receivers.

After tomorrow we don't have to hear anymore bs about what the 49ers are or aren't. IT SHALL BE SETTLED MY FRIENDS!! I'm on the Giants btw
