All of you mentally retarded jets fans: Do you really believe Dirty Sanchez and The Fat Man have a chance next week? I hope that you can be real with yourself and realize that this team is nothing but mediocre with a horrible QB..Yes I said horrible. Do you think they won/win in convincing fashion against the Colts or any of there performances against the Browns and Lions? by 1 pt on a last second FG? Come on and get real. Did I think they would beat the Colts? Nope...I had indy minus the pts and I lost but in no way possible could that be meaures for me to turn around and take the Jets vs NE. Not happening. Not falling for it and I hope you dont either. Just be real with yourself and take the Patriots. Don't be a homer this next weekend. I dont know if NE will cover the spread but they will win this game.

Some info I found....
History doesn't give the New York Jets much hope to beat the New England Patriots on Sunday -- or come very close.

The Jets somehow need to make up 43 points from their last meeting, a 45-3 laugher for the Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Week 13.

Wall Street Journal writer Michael David Smith reviewed all the times a regular-season game was decided by at least 35 points and the teams met again in the playoffs.

It has happened five times before, and in each case the team that lost in the regular season lost again in the rematch by at least two scores.

Here are the previous instances with the regular-season game first, playoff game second.

1969: Vikings over Browns 51-3; Vikings over Browns 27-7.

1980: Eagles over Vikings 42-7; Eagles overVikings 31-16.

1991: Redskins over Lions 45-0; Redskins over Lions 41-10.

1991: Redskins over Falcons 56-17; Redskins over Falcons 24-7.

2009: Jets over Bengals 37-0; Jets over Bengals 24-14.

Awesome info Ducati ..Good to know...I think Pats are going to be more dangerous in this game. Jets coming off a nail biter. Pats are back to 100% health and BRADY!!! AT HOME!!Need i say more? LOL... I dont think so. This game has all the hee-haw of a blow out but you usually dont see that in the NFL playoffs.

I would love to see Rex and the Jets win but don't think it's going to happen.  I can't stand Belichick.  Also don't think Jets cover.  After that beating they gave them last time they met I don't think they keep the game within 10 points.  I was on the Jets against Indy but not this week.

Are you talking about the ML or point spread? Because if you are talking about betting NE -9, I think you are being a little over-confident. I am not playing this game, but this game might come down to a last second FG or TD...

How many times has the team that won by 35 pts also lost to that same team in the regular season ???   Answer --- 0.

Being a Dolphins fan watching these two turds play will be tough but I must wager on it(were running out of games).Have a look at how the Pats finished after getting smoked @ Cleveland.The only team to give them any problems was Green Bay.Could that be a clue to as who the Pats play in the Superbowl?

Don't forget the Jets held GB to only 6 points (the other 3 occurred because we turned it over on downs in our own territory at the end of the game since we had to go for it on 4th down). Don't be counting your chickens before they hatch.

Foolish statement. First of all, you live in Massachusetts so you have no idea what the Jets' fans mindset is. Hardly anyone is talking shit and most people on sports talk radio are saying we're going to lose. I am NOT talking shit. I am merely saying the Jets have a chance and it is not going to be as lopsided as the game on December 6th was. Patriots fans seem very confident, and this is exactly what I want. Keep running your mouth over the 45-3 game because that game means nothing now.
