Yeah, man, week 1 NFL is probably the best betting week.....cause it's new, you're fresh, it's easier to do the homework---you want to do it, and most importantly--Vegas hasn't had a chance yet to sharpen the knives.
 
If I have any sense, I'll just bet week 1 full games, and then just do 2Hs the rest of the season until playoffs and save myself the headaches of agonizing over "Vegas vs the public" and all that jazz.
 
Speaking of week 1, I am having a hard time understanding why Vegas has Buffalo at +1 vs Seattle.  I want to get all over Buffalo, but am "agonizing" over the trapline bullsheet.  I must assume that the public is piling on Buffalo like there's no tomorrow, and the line is staying put.  That's really the only game I like from Sunday.
 
Speaking of Miami, I loved them at +3 when all this Favre crap broke, but I think Miami is also becoming a public play, and they do suck, so don't like that game anymore.
 
Yeah, congrats on tonight.  Washington is truly horrific on offense, but you know, man, they could've easily back-doored that -3.5 last night on that final drive.  That 16-7 could've just as easily fallen 16-14.
 
Crazy stuff....this sicko addiction.

You are so right about the backdoor cover. Wish the Giants could have made it easier but like I say to my friends, "Did your account
go up or down? That's all that matters." Funny you mention the Buffalo game. I have disciplined myself to zone in one or two games a week. I am a big "home team line move" watcher.The Greek put out the NFL lines at the end of July.At that time, Seattle was -1. Buffalo is now -1 and I will be taking them to the bank. Hassleback's "back" is not good and Buffalo is a tough team at home. Be glad the line doesn't go up (not that it is going to matter!)  so it makes the win easier.

Yeah, NYC, Buffalo line looks like it will move once the public piles on it.
 
I think I'll take them right now at -1, and maybe reduce exposure and go for a middle if public takes it to -3 by kickoff.
 
But I am worried about it.....looks like a vicious Vegas trap.
 
Was sort of liking Baltimore +2 vs Cincy, but am going to be disciplined and stay with one game at a time.
 
No bets for me today in college football.  Was sort of liking WVU -7.5 against ECU and MTSU ML vs Maryland, but I always lose with WVU and Maryland no matter which side I go, so no bets for me.
