This is just completely false. There is no evidence to back up what you are trying to say. This weekend he proved again how off base you are. Was it his fault that the defense gave up a last minute TD? Absolutely not. What was his fault was his inability to stand in the pocket and take a hit to deliver the ball to D. Thomas on the 18 yard line right before the half ended. If they run the ball and get stuffed they leave Baltimore with little to no time to score. Even if the Ravens stop them and Denver kicks a FG they are up by 10 at the half. Instead he rushes the throw and it eventually turns into a 52 yard FG attempt i believe. Well that missed and the Ravens with great field position tied the game at half. They had Baltimore on the ropes and he could of really put the hurt on them! Instead they tie it up and at that point I don't believe any player in the Baltimore locker room thought they were going to lose. It's situations like these that make the world of difference. After Baltimore turned it over and the Broncos started @ their own forty yard line he couldn't get a score. His inability to put them away time after time in that game caught up to them. This is a common theme with playoff Peyton Manning. He will beat the crap out of average teams but there is a reason he is now 9-11 in the playoffs with 8 one and done appearances.

Honestly if Brady, Rodgers, Brees or Rothlisberger played for Denver would they have lost that game?

Manning is so awful that is the reason when Indy let him go;Every one wanted to sign him. That is someone who is an awful quarterback. He is not only a good quarterback but a leader who is a inspiration to every one player and fans alike.

Unfortunately almost none of them have come when the hardware depended on it. Regular season "paper" champion, yes he is, but when it counts he's not even in my current top 5 quarterbacks. You can keep making all the excuses for him you want, but the bottom line is he doesn't get the job done enough for the amount of hype he receives.

Actually his best comeback was in the AFC championship game against New England which then in turn led to a superbowl win.

Don't forget what Manning did Vs the Jets to get to the Superbowl vs the Saints. They trailed by 11 in that game

I have to say you can't blame Manning for his misfortunes in the playoffs. Coaching staff has to have a bit of that.

Denver had a chance to finish Baltimore on offense. Coach decides to run on 3rd down.
LOST in OT. Shouldnt have gone there

The Colts scored to fast on the Jets and gave Sanchez enough time to comeback and win. Poor time management on coach. LOST as time expired.

Colts had a chance to finish the Chargers on offense. Manning didnt get a first down play call on 3rd down to finish them off. Lost in OT Shouldnt have gone there

I feel bad for the guy

Denver had a chance to finish Baltimore on offense. Coach decides to run on 3rd down.
LOST in OT. Shouldnt have gone there

The Colts scored to fast on the Jets and gave Sanchez enough time to comeback and win. Poor time management on coach. LOST as time expired.

Colts had a chance to finish the Chargers on offense. Manning didnt get a first down play call on 3rd down to finish them off. Lost in OT Shouldnt have gone there

I feel bad for the guy

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Look at the excuses you guys make for him. Gave Sanchez too much time...Are you kidding me? The imposing Marc Sanchez...wow...I don't think people worry so much nowadays about him getting too much time. And you're right Denver had a chance to finish Baltimore, and once again a Peyton Manning led team didn't get the job done. No one makes excuses for Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers. You know why? Because you don't need to. If Eli would've lost his 2 Superbowl appearances you would've just said, 'Oh well, he's not as good as his brother', but instead he won them and you're trying to convince me his brother is better in the clutch. Well no sale. I said it once, I'll say it again, and I'm sure I'll probably get to say it again next year...give me Eli in the playoffs over Peyton for the best chance to close the deal. And I did say playoffs, not regular season.

    Yeah he is no Eli.
Eli's season starts in January if he doesn't sleep walk too much through the regular season lol.

He'll be back in the playoffs next year.  Guaranteed.  Extra motivation with the Super Bowl at Giants Stadium.  Plus their schedule is not a super bowl schedule, so its easier, but thats no excuse for not making it into playoffs this year.  They had their division lead and blew it.

I hope Peyton is back too so it could be Eli vs Peyton maybe.

You can suck my left nut when Eli smacks his big brother in the super bowl next year.  Peyton can handle the cold, box.

This guy comes back from neck surgey (multiple neck surgery's)  and crushes it, MVP? . I said he's the most clutch ever and he comes back from 28 pts down on MNF (never happened before ever nbd) and then they win out untill denvers defense loses them the game in the playoffs. Eli is great though

I know he is.  Peyton is one of the greatest QBs.  While he may of not played his best in that playoff game this year, Denver lost due to their defense and the coaches.  John Fox f u c k ed that game up as well as Champ Bailey.

I'll be back on this next year to hear what your excuses are then. He'll probably be in the playoffs, but he almost certainly will lose a game his team should win like he always does. He's only taken care of business ONE time with several, several more talented teams that other so-called lesser qb's have won with less talent. But I'm afraid it will be the same song-n-dance Peyton love next year. I guess a lot of these people are Braves fans, or Buffalo Bills from the early 90's fans.

I don't miss Mr. October, the best regular season dome qb ever.

He looked like Farve against Giants in the NFC Championship game when it went into o.t. He had just had enough and looked old just like Mr. October's last pass. The only thing that was missing was the coffee cup. Why Mr. October would select Denver knowing he'd end up playing outdoors in the cold come playoff time is a mystery to me.
