I have said I QUIT at least a hundred times. Now I just say I'm takin a break. It would probably be BREAK TIME if the GIANTS had not haved pulled a miracle ending to win by 6 and cover the 4 I was layin.

All what you said is true. I'm not a huge better, 10-100 bucks.. but eff I feel like a bag of shit when I lose, doesn't matter how much I put on the line. I never tend to chase, I vent for 30 mintes than cool off. If I survive that 30 mintes im good haha. I think of it a lot like golfing, when your game is on you are on top of the world, when its going down the shitter you want to throw your clubs in the pond. I cant count the hours I have spent researching games and watching them with knots in my stomach. I'm a college kid so 100 bucks is a huge blow hahah now I ask my self how I managed a 4.00 GPA this semester? I studied for gambling more so than my exams it felt like

BUCK...im a newer "registered" user to this site. Been using it for a couple years now though for insight. I had a horrible year 3 years ago...got off it for a long time. Still gambled alot though! LOL!! Just not sports. Started bettin NFL a few weeks back. Been gettin killed again!! So it seems like you know your stuff, so Im gonna keep an eye on your picks if you dont mind. NFL is crazy shit from week to week, it can be hard to cap, lots of time to prepare and gameplan. Even though you may be on the "right" side, sometimes you have to go against the numbers. (Eg. Jets at Seattle or Texans at Raiders)
WE NEED MORE INFO GUYS. This 5-1 ATS last 6 meetings or whatever is NOT ENOUGH.
Put your thinking caps on. My first 'stat' I want to know is which teams score first and how often does that translate to an ATS win. I've noticed the Falcons usually drive down and get points in the first 2 possessions. This has led to a great ATS record.
Start digging guys.......
remember, we are playing against a computer that simulates these games millions of times with state of the art software that generates a point spread that gets SHARPER and SHARPER every week that goes by. (exclude Super Bowl last year, LOL!)
Also, DONT BET UNLESS U HAVE AN EDGE. Otherwise you might as well flip a coin and put your hard earned money on that. The key is to find the book with their PANTS DOWN on a soft line and ram your P into that Vag until they beg for mercy. Don't just go looking for box just for the sake of getting box. Stay away from these games and resist the urge to be a degenerate. I know its hard, trust me, I have to resist EVERY NIGHT the NBA is on......its about willpower and discipline.

THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. You are a moron if you bet 10+ games on any given Sunday. What did your newbie ass expect? To win 7 games and "profit"?? You'll learn soon enough that you must play fewer games. Better to be confident about 1 play and live with the results.
Today I bet: Tennessee +3, NE -2 and NO -1tease , Wash 2ndH +4.5
Nothing too exciting, but I went 3-0. ( didn't touch Ravens/Cowgirls or Bears/Saints )
Then I bet (cuz I wanted action) Panthers +3 1stHalf and +4 Game. Split those but I had more money on the game spread so I lost on SNF.
The point is for you to find 2 or 3 solid plays and make money. Betting 10+ games in a single day is pure idiocy. If you have to bet the Primetime games, play them for a smaller percentage of your daily profits (or losses, knock on wood). Maybe like 25% of a normal bet unless you have a decided edge.

i always thought nba and baseball are way tougher than nfl. fact nba sucks. point production and point denominations makes it impossible. e.g. football is 3, 7, 10, 14. basketball can race up and down by 2s, 3s constantly. momentum can build easily in a 4th quarter and sink a side. who the fuck knows if the lakers will win by 14. they may slow and win by 9 but still win. stupid wagering sides. baseball you have to bet pitchers and bet series. single games and runlines kill you. early season kills you. teasers kill. have to be disciplined and choose sides that make sense in nfl.
