The call at the end I can see because he hit him in the head. It is a box call but one I have seen called a number of times before. You can't hit the QB in the head. The one that really just put the sour taste in my mouth on the NFL was the hit on the receiver where he had his head down and they call him a defenseless receiver. That just did it for me there then the play at the end was just salt on the wound. There will never be another hard hit in the NFL again. They have pretty much completely ruined it. It will be impossible to go back now.

It was a complete horseshit call, the kind of call that gets overlooked all the time. if they called every play like that, there would never be another sack in the NFL.

no doubt brother, god knows i have plenty off bad beats and a handful of fortunate breaks go my way over the years as well..i promise when some ugly shit like this goes my way im not going around beating my chest like a few of these pricks in here, i just think "about time one went my way" and move on....
its over now fuck it, this one just stung a little more as between the fact i had way more money riding on this game with straight bets and parlay tie ins than i care to talk about and the way the officials dictated this whole game just frustrating...not to mention i was burnt with the cle/pats under on a run the clock out long td run by Hillis(that what i get for trying to be smart and thinking cle winning and under were a great match), had under in kc/oak in a game that had no business going over, just rough to lose when you put together a card that even today after the fact i wouldnt change....
i guess the one bright spot is i was so pissed after all that i did a pretty big 3 team parlay with gb, over, and lakers, and i guess i feel pretty damn fortunate that square ass thing hit and pretty much bailed me out....
its over now time to move forward and continue doing what i have been doing up until this weekend and punishing my book, feeling greedy and trying to put together another 3 teamer today with the mon night game and a nba play or 2....

It's not really the call at the end that bothers me so much as the call on the defenseless receiver and instead of Philly getting the ball on a fumble Indy gets the ball back plus a first down and 15 yards. That changed the whole game there. Philly was dominating that game up until that point.

I had INDY +15 and over 34.5 in the backend of a 12 point teaser for 2 units; INDY +14 at the back end of a 11.5 point teaswer for 1 unit; PHI ML for 2 units; and PHI pk 2H for 1 unit so worked well for me but no need to rub it in. I feel your pain Sam. I was really hoping PHI would win by less than 14 but more than 3 because I knew alot of a good guys on PHI -3. BOL!

Yup...no way that deserved roughing the passer call. Refs basically were giving Peyton Manning a chance to win the game. Game was over....and I woulda won my parlay....unfknbelievable!!!
