***HUGE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY ON THE PATRIOTS VS RAVENS GAME***

Prime your a conspiracy theorist like myself. Look at the last time there was a Superbowl rematch. Think it was Dallas/buffalo 1993 or 94. That.might eliminate ny/ne and Baltimore/ny. Also besides 2008 ab where ne/ny played there has been a team in the Superbowl that hasn't been their in at least 10+ years. Well Baltimore and sf been their in a while. If ne wins sf would be the team that hasn't been there in a while.

I don't see a rematch happening for Baltimore vs ny or ne vs ny. Ne/sf media will hype it up as team of the 80s vs the newest dynasty. Brady will try tying Montana for rings. Also best offense vs best defense who will make the difference. It's all setup for these teams.

Primetime name the corners for the Ravens?  Do any of these guys compare to Revis?  I hope im not sounding ignorant.  Point being is I would consider this Ravens D as good against subpar teams.  But against Brady I would tread lightly.  Dont bet against a Michigan Man!

I heard this stats on the radio and I am not too sure how accurate it is but the guy said that Brady has troubled playing against Balt.  He has a figure in the 50% passing completion when playing Balt. 

I am thinking about playing the under if this is true. 

The only way for Balt to win is not let Brady has his days with jacking up them scores. 

The battle of the brothers for the Superbowl is my prediction.  2 notorious defensive squads to the superbowl to throw people off when they say that defense wins championship. 

Good ratings for the NFL too.

I hear what your saying..Webb is solid but Jimmy Smith is really the best cover man in a man-man situation for the Ravens because he's more physical..a rookie out of Colorado and very talented..kinda like McCourty and how he played last year...the defensive backfield is not bad for the Ravens but the Pats have lit up just about every secondary in the league this year...pressure is the key if the Ravens get this one and the Pats o-line is playing very well lately and practically all year

Suggs, Lewis, and Ngata have 21 of the Ravens 48 sacks this year so the pressure really comes from everywhere. But, if you send too many you open up the gates for the Pats' superior short-passing game. They really need to get pressure with 5 in order to get it done. We'll see I understand why people like the 7 points here but the Pats have averaged 37 over their last 9 and have given up less than 20/game over that stretch.

When you combine the pats' 34 takeaways this year and the Ravens inability at times to convert in the red zone......the OFFENSIVE pressure from the Pats beats the DEFENSIVE pressure for the Ravens. Tom Brady would have broke another passing record this year if Brees did'nt blow it up in the NFC.

Add to New England's offense how prepared they will be for what is to come. They have Bill O'Brien, Josh McDaniels, AND Tom Brady to prepare for what they will do to counter what the Ravens throw at them.

Expect to see alot more of Hernandez in the backfield; Bill Belichick said earlier this week that Hernandez in the backfield, 'was no big deal and doesnt mean anything'. To that, I expect it means alot and we'll see more of it. Also more of Danny Woodhead, Welker, and Hernandez in the screen game to exact the pressure from the Ravens should be expected.

With three brilliant minds preparing for what WILL be a raved-up Raven defense I don't think it matters what the hell the Ravens do....the Patriots will find a way to get theirs even if it gets off to a slow start.

And oh ya by the way, Joey freakin' Flacco...come on man!!!

Harbaugh said before last weeks Texans game, I think we can win up in New England next week knowing he was not gonna play his team hard last week & knowing he would win the game.............Flacco & the Ravens defense are gonna go to work on the Patriots like its 2009...............

..... although I don't KNOW if he's betting with real money he does provide information that is helpful and puts in his time, which earns a certain amount of respect. But, the practical GUARUNTEE that the Ravens will cover this week is taking a big risk at people calling him out after the game.

I think the Pats cover but I think the Ravens certainly COULD....this way I don't run the risk of responding to people calling me an idiot.

The main point of this forum though is to trade info and not call eachother moron's, I'm pretty sure...and, this is the biggest Pats/Ravens thread so that's why I keep coming back...
