with a minute and a half left and the other side only has one timeout?  honestly i say this every week but that's a new level of incompetence.  at one point, teams are going to run out of ridiculously stupid thigns to do and i won't be able to say that but there appears to be a lot of incompetence left with some of these teams.

i'm still not sure how NO -10 lost.

why werent they taking a knee?  Its almost like they wanted to fumble the ball.

With a 1:42 left and only 1 timeout, this game should have been over with.

    look at this shit

    1st-10, ATL47
    2nd-10, ATL46
    3rd-10, ATL46

why did they only run 14 seconds off the clock on 3rd down

I don't know they were pretty fricking quick to blow the whistle in the first quarter when NO stripped the ball.  But no they called forward progress then.  I am completely speechless.  What makes it worst is that the ATL backers appear to believe they are in entitled to the win like it wasn't a complete gift to them and robbery to us.  Un fricking believable!  I have yet to win a game like this... just like the Iowa game this week from the dead to covering the spread.  WOW!

With one time out left NO would still have to punt with not much time on the clock for sure but still would have to punt.  Count the time down in your head and you will see what I am talking about.  But I have to stop talking about this game.  SO PISSED!!!!

    New Orleans - 1:42
    1st-10, ATL47
    2nd-10, ATL46
    3rd-10, ATL46

1:42 left and one time out.  they run first down, falcons use timeout at 1:37. 2nd down, they kneel and take 3 seconds off the clock, now its at 1:34.  they dont have to snap ball for third down until clock hits 54 seconds left, they use 3 seconds and kneel, now theres 51 seconds left, they run clock all the way down to 11 seconds.  Now at this point they can either take another kneel or just punt.

There was no reason to be running plays and risk a fumble with over a minute to go in the game.

aslo why did they only take 14 seconds off the clcok from 2nd down to third down.

This could be one of the most corrupt endings on monday night football.

Saints were forced to take a timeout after their center got injured. That is why Atlanta was able to keep their timeout and then use it after the 2nd down run. And then obviously the 3rd down run was the fumble so they blow the whistle as soon as the play is dead. But regardless, it is dumb to even run the ball in that situation cus you never know the guy could fumble and the Falcons could house it to cut the lead to 3 after the 2 pt conversion then an onside kick recovery and FG to tie it.

The books would have gotten "middled" big time if the score stood with Saints by 11. It does seem shady.

Totally agree with Prime Time here. Something's fishy and I have never called for a fix or anything like that because I have been doing this shit way too long and know crazy shit happens, but the Falcons would have had , at best, 30 + seconds left on the clock and the ball at their own 20 yard line after a punt. How the fuck did that happen????

I teased NO and the over so I got a win but I have to agree that was some unusal time management.  No on eis getting hurt if you take a knee - you would punt with very little tim eleft and the game would of been over. Very strange.

Everyone is missing that on the 1st down play the clock stopped because of N.O. injury and ATL didn't have to use the 1 timeout to stop the clock until the next play, if the injury don't happen NO probably holds on and covers.
