I didn't know weather to trust it or not. I took his pick last week for the first time and got fucked !!! So will he be wrong this week too !!

2 or 3 years ago I followed TJ on Monday night and the guy was money-- I would go with the guys that truly know the X's and 's of football-- if they are all in agreement, then generally speaking it's logical way to go

Ya i dont think retired players and coaches on tv are any more qualified than experienced bettors. Different worlds.

That worry's me that choach is on the gmen. I mean he went 13-1 thus far. Is he going to be wrong again this week ? Plus everyone is on the skins ??? There is just something about this game that's off.

Sorry fellas, but you all misunderstood the context of my comment-- I'm simply saying there are certain announcers/ex-players that do understand the X's and O's of football-- if you notice they are on fire with their picks I feel (notice this is just my opinion) it is a decent "guideline" when making your final decisions-- Obviously these guys are just picking a winner, the spread pick is still in our hands... and yes, I agree an experienced capper can make the pick just as easy-- however, we are capping based on numbers/trends/ etc.-- for me, I use these guys for some of those intangibles you just won't read about-- and ex coaches and players generally have a feel for the emotional magnitude of a game and the players in it- If you really listen to them you can get a pretty good idea of their thoughts on how the game will go... sort of like Herbstreit in football

Yes he did, but I was watching it. He tipped his hat. He said tonight he lost last week because he was resting, preparing for the Play-offs.  He followed that statement with "I am still resting for the Playoffs, so I am taking the Redskins"

Basically it was his way of Picking the Giants and putting out an intentional Lose, because he is resting his players "so to speak".

(He intentional said it like that, and exactly what he meant).

Didn't anyone else catch it ?
