I dont understand when people look back at the dolphin and seahawk games and use them as reasons not to bet the giants.  The NFL is a week by week league and "squeeking" by a team and blowing them out means absolutely nothing.  A W is a W....that being said I do think this is a field goal game either way so I like the G-Men wit the points...

This game will comedown SF O-line to keep Alex Smith off the ground.

Tough game but I would def. side with Gmen getting 3.5 with a ton of momentum.  Should drop Smith 5 or 6 times and keep the pressure on him all day.

Yeah, I guess winning 6 in a row and covering 8 in a row doesn't compare with the Giants 3 game winning streak...

I wish you guys that love NY would get this line down to 3 pts already. Hasn't moved all week.

Imagine what the line would be had the Giants lost to NE. Gmen back to back on the road. SF all day here.

Like KB said, that line is just very enticing to NYG backers. Not biting here.

The Giants have been in this position before and they won a superbowl that year. Not saying they will be in Indiana at the end of the season but this team is battle tested and beating the Pats was a statement game. They are looking to make a run and this team competes better as a dog imo. I don't think the East to West coast will be a negative factor for the Giants, they know it's time. Eli could be in a back/back zone.......

Very tough game, had bet the Giants early in the week & bought out of it, want no piece of this game. I think I will wait until the 49ers go to Baltimore to bet with or against.

The fact that this got has already gotten to +4 before the weekend with all of the Giant love should tell people something.

Gmen??? Nobody gives a fuck bout Eli, them traveling to west coast, they should of lost to Pats, SF been on a ats terror .....there's alot of $$ on SF tomorrow at home, that's why the line moved off the hook.

I am liking Gmen more and more but laying off Texans - I rather take Pitt instead of the Texans but GL.

I'm taking the Giants and the points.

Gore's not a top tier back.  He'll be held in check.  Alex Smith is gonna have to win this game with his arm because the Giant offense is gonna control the clock with methodical drives for points.  The Giants will put the 49ers in a position where they have to pass and when Alex Smith drops back the GMen are gonna hit him, over and over again.

Harbaugh's a better coach than he was a player but Coughlin has been getting his teams to play their best ball at this time, in this league, since 1995.  He knows how to position himself for the playoffs.  His teams play with a chip on their shoulder and save their best football for this part of the season.  Harbaugh will not be able to out coach Coughlin and his players aren't talented enough to close that gap.

lmao...this thread is hilarious. I can not take someone seriously when they have there teams logo in there avi and want everyone to bet with them and/or try to convince them there team is the pick and the opponent is the losing bet....lmao aka Niner, Bigniner, mtbaker.

And someone mentioned earlier giants easy schedule...wtf have the 49ers played? There remaining schedule they have stl twice, az twice, and seattle. Then the two losses to pitt and balt. About as easy as it gets in this league.

+4 now as of 1:17a.m. est

That is just too much points to give. SF is great against the run and in PA, but they still give up yards through the air. Eli will go over 300 yards easily.

Alex Smith threw for 179 yds and 2 td's against the prolific Dallas pass rush. Gore ran for only 47 yards. Although the Niners had a shot to win that game (because of a punt return TD) they lost in overtime to one huge passing play that led to field goal.

I expect a similar flat offensive game from the Niners. Just slow down Gore who is never a 100% anyways. Smith will be hit several times, and will be aware of what may be blasting him on every single snap. (i.e. Brady last week)

TAKE THE G-MEN +4 if possible. it's a value pick

Public is on the giants huge. Therefore I am not.. 9ers will completely shut down the giants already weak 88 rushing yards per game and will run all over a weak run defense who gives up 127+ yards per game. Going to be a great day for gore and hunter. The giants passing game isnt impressive enough to compensate for a one dimensional form of offense. ML

San Francisco is the EXACT SAME TEAM that finished last season 6-10. The only difference is they are 2011's "magic carpet ride team". Every year there is a team that catches every break in the book and covers almost every week, last year it was Atlanta. This year that team is San Francisco. They are 7-1 because of turnovers and a very nice schedule. That's it. Plain and simple. They aren't any better than last year, this year they are just catching the breaks. They are already +12 in turnovers which would put them on pace for I believe the 3rd best ratio in the last 10 years. They have already recovered 9 fumbles (the flukiest stat in the game) which is more than all of last season.

Sure they beat Tampa and Detroit but let's be honest neither of those young teams were in a position to compete at their best after both playing in and winning their first primetime home games in forever, especially Tampa Bay flying west on a short week. The Eagles gave that game away (fumble at the end and that horrible Ronnie Brown fumble at the goal line). The two Top 10 offenses they've faced this year have dumped 470 and 513 yards on this "great defense" but they also committed 5 turnovers.

San Fran is the biggest fraud in the league and it's not close. This week the ride may continue again as they get the Giants cross-country in their 2nd straight road game after coming back to beat the Pats. It's very tough to go against "magic carpet teams".

9-0 ATS this season but I know their the "EXACT SAME TEAM" as last year. I left this game alone because I was afraid SF wouldn't have any motivation (division is a joke).
