Someone asked Parcells if he was resting players one year in this scenario-he said-is there a game on the schedule? Then they're playing! When you worry about getting hurt, that's exactly what happens...do you think they'll all sit next year????

Knowing Mike McCarthy, that fat nimwitted box, I imagine he would do the samething next year. The guy is clueless.

Yes they played a terrible game- it happens-

The MAIN problem is their defense- it is terrible and has been all year- usually the offense doesn't make mistakes and they overcome their pathetic defense-

It's the same reason my Saints lost- the defense sucks- only with the Saints, it's because the Defensive coordinator continues to play them in man to man coverage when the DB's dont have the skills to do so-

If the Packers offense would have played a great game like they normally do then it would have been a shootout and could have gone either way - I think Rodgers was off because he had the Giants pass rush in the back of his head- who knows- the Giants secondary has sucked this year but damn that defensive line is good and they can overcome their problems in the secondary-

Admit that they got beat and move on- My Saints lost a heartbreaker and i won't bitch about it- Defense more often than not wins championships and the Packers and Saints need to improve their defenses plain and simple

    good points

the giants now have scored 30+ on the packers twice in a year

even of the gb offense fired ;ast sunday , there was no guarantee rodgers woould have outdueled manning

remember - 2 years ago , kurt warner went td for td with rodgers and the packers lost in OT

the packer d , last year in the playoffs came up big time in philly , chicago and vs pitt

rodgers was flawless in the atlanta game

the defense went bad this year , and rodgers kept bailing them out , last sunday , the o had a bad day and they were playing against a super bowl mvp who has multiple weapons

Besides the fumble call, which was such a joke...GB handed that game away anyway they could....

Onside kick.....3rd and long sitting back....

The Giants D-Line made 1 big play thats it.....that strip of Rodgers saved a TD....because Ross dropped his jock on the double move and Jennings was open by 20 yds....

4 fumbles, 2 of which by players who didnt fumble all year...

9 dropped passes, all of which players were wide fricken open.....

Congrats on the Giants moving on....

    I will eat my words....

GB laid an egg, but the Giants did nothing to win this game....

GB did what they wanted on offense, UNTIL THEY MESSED up.....

Bump all my old threads thats cool.....

Alot of tough people behind the keyboard....

Send me a private message if youre coming to Chicago, and if you want to talk shit to my face, ill give you my address.....

I dont care what happened or what the score was....GB lost that game....Giants didnt win it.

Everytime 3rd down they had guys wide open and we dropped the ball....

Good job Giants for taking advantage of a team laying an egg....

Good luck to the remaining 4

And bye the way, for the clueless, lowlifes calling me out for not being here yet in my old threads....sorry I didnt upload covers.com on the walk to the car from the game....

Sad lives you live getting enjoyment calling people out on covers.com

Dude this argument is stupid. Giants did everything to win. They limited mistakes. Played decently well on defense and played well on offense?

    I am a Steeler fan.

LETS use your logic for last years superbowl. Greenbay zero turnovers. Steelers 3. Points off turnovers for GB 21. Greenbay wins by 6 points. Take away those turnovers and who wins? Exactly, but you don't see me saying Steelers lost that game. Greenbay won it because they were the better team that day. Just like Giants were the better team.

    Quit being a sore loser.

So does this mean that the 49ers lost the game as well and the Giants just "advanced" to the Super Bowl?

So is playing the Super Bowl pointless since, according to Pack, the Giants don't belong there?

Maybe we should just cancel the Super Bowl since LGP didn't get the Packers vs. Anyone Super Bowl he hoped for.

    bump.

hey pack, what will you do when the giants win the superbowl. there's plenty of time left in your life that you can join the bandwagon. Why don't you give it a try this weekend. route for the underdog just once in your life & take the giants. I know you only choose the very best favorites & act like you are some betting genious. You are all about tom brady in the superbowl. If Tom brady wins, you can come back here & tell giant fans, see i told you so.

Every one knows the cowboys have the best team in football and haven't been beat in three years they just beat themselfs. They should just give the boys the trophy at the beginning of each year since they have the best football team in the world but just beat Themself 50% of the time.

I wonder who is going to advance to lift the Lombardi Trophy this Sunday?

I mean we all know the Packers are the real Super Bowl Champions this year and most likely every year from here on out since they don't lose games, they just don't advance.

I guess the game shouldn't even be played since neither one of these teams are "winning".
