It's hard to believe that SO many players on the PACK had such a bad game. It's easy and sometimes soothing to the fan to "feel" that a game was given away and lost by their team and not actually won by another. I watched every game the Pack played this year-and never saw AR off more then he was against the Giants. BUT i do believe the Giants caused that-you see a bad throw or a drop by a sure handed reciever or a fumble by a guy who NEVER fumbles, your tendency is to say-they are "giving" this game away.

Mistakes do happen during the course of a game, but you can thank the Giants for 'causing" those mistake- they were inside the heads of the Packers from the start-had them boys thinking early and often that the HIT was coming. The PACK had a plan- got smacked in the face and never recovered! Very surprsing from a 15-1 defending Super Bowl Champion on their home turf, but I have to give it to the Giants-THEY WON THAT GAME by forcing and making the PACKERS to play scared, from behind and tenative.

It pains me to say that being an Eagles fan who hates ALL of the other NFC EAST teams, especially hard to swallow when all the Eagles had to do was hold onto a 4th quarter lead against the Falcons (up 10 going into the 4th) the 49ers( up 6 going into the 4th quarter) the Bears (up 4 going into the 4th) and ZONA (up 7 going into the 4th) anyone of those we win and the Giants never even make the SHOW!!

Hurts-but with that said the Giants have to pay-it off now-lose next week and NO BODY will remember them except maybe LETGOPACK1234!

    BE STRONG MY FRIEND!!

    Great win Giants fans!!

    GO 49ERS!!

    Letsgopack1234-

You need to rethink why the Packers lost-

Yes they played a terrible game- it happens-

The MAIN problem is their defense- it is terrible and has been all year- usually the offense doesn't make mistakes and they overcome their pathetic defense-

It's the same reason my Saints lost- the defense sucks- only with the Saints, it's because the Defensive coordinator continues to play them in man to man coverage when the DB's dont have the skills to do so-

If the Packers offense would have played a great game like they normally do then it would have been a shootout and could have gone either way - I think Rodgers was off because he had the Giants pass rush in the back of his head- who knows- the Giants secondary has sucked this year but damn that defensive line is good and they can overcome their problems in the secondary-

Admit that they got beat and move on- My Saints lost a heartbreaker and i won't bitch about it- Defense more often than not wins championships and the Packers and Saints need to improve their defenses plain and simple

And Eli will absolutely pick any team apart if they don't rush him. He had all day to throw the ball almost every time. Their offensive line was killing the Packers front seven in pass protection. I am not a big Eli fan but he is very good when he isn't pressured and he showed that yesterday.

damn pack want some cheese w/ that wine???????

giants outplayed green bay in every facet of the game.  offense better, defense better, special teams better, coaching better.

if not for the lame refs trying to get your team back in the game it'd have been an even HIGHER score.

giants are on a mission and have revenge on their minds.  they will bring it to SF and then presumably to new england.  hell i wouldn't be surprised if new england won this time around only b/c brady lost to them 2x in a row.  winning 3x in a row vs an elite qb would be a tall order...

The Giants D-Line made 1 big play thats it.....that strip of Rodgers saved a TD....because Ross dropped his jock on the double move and Jennings was open by 20 yds....

4 fumbles, 2 of which by players who didnt fumble all year...

9 dropped passes, all of which players were wide fricken open.....

Congrats on the Giants moving on....

    I will eat my words....

GB laid an egg, but the Giants did nothing to win this game....

GB did what they wanted on offense, UNTIL THEY MESSED up.....

Bump all my old threads thats cool.....

Alot of tough people behind the keyboard....

Send me a private message if youre coming to Chicago, and if you want to talk shit to my face, ill give you my address.....

I dont care what happened or what the score was....GB lost that game....Giants didnt win it.

Everytime 3rd down they had guys wide open and we dropped the ball....

Good job Giants for taking advantage of a team laying an egg....

Good luck to the remaining 4

And bye the way, for the clueless, lowlifes calling me out for not being here yet in my old threads....sorry I didnt upload covers.com on the walk to the car from the game....

Sad lives you live getting enjoyment calling people out on covers.com

Hopefully this game will teach some teams not to sit out there starter for the last couple of weeks. The key starters haven't played a down for alomst 20 days. Why wouldnt the Packers come out flat.

Their scoring drives were handed to them...all the the tds....

    The 1st td was a 15 yd-In....and about 55 yds after 5 missed tackeles...MORE GB MISTAKES....

Next score came after a fumble by a guy who hadnt fumbled in 2+ years giving them the ball in fg range....

    Next score was a hailmary....

Next score was after another fumble giving them the ball on the 4....

Final score was after another onside kick and all out run blitz.....

    Giants were handed 5 scores...

    > You cant be handed 5 scores in the NFL playoffs.

The fumbles were Forced Fumbles, you know when a tackler uses proper technique and knocks the ball out of the opponents hands.

The hailmary play was poor D all the way and an athletic play by a great WR. Maybe you couldnt see too well on the Jumbotron but Sam Shields and Jarrett Bush were both standing there watching Nicks come down with the catch instead of swiping at the ball, but I guess you think that was them  "giving the game away".

The first Nicks TD was what the Gmen have been doing ALL yr, that was not the best pursuit by GB D but what your failing to see with this play was exactly what  the Giants, who led the NFL with 18 completions of 40+ YDs this season, . The Giants of old were a grind it out running based O, but this yr that have lived by the big play, See Victor Cruz..

If any team in this game was given points it was GB. The had and obvious fumble not overturned and a phantom "blow to the head" roughing the passer, which both Joe Buck and Troy Aikmen agreed were BOTH wrong calls that led to the ONLY 2 TDs GB scored.  Take away the TDs "given" to GB and they score 6 pts, 2 FGS. They wouldnt have beaten Tebow scoring 6 pts.

Bottom line is GB made a lot of mistakes and Gmen capitalized on them. Its hard as a fan to watch a Great team dominate all season only to put up a bad game when it counts, but now you know how NE felt going 18-1. Its not like GB lost to the Jaguars,  The Giants are a good team playing great right now

Are you Fucking Kidding Me!  There were 2 terrible terrible terrible calls in the 1st Half.  That was a Fumble Plain and Clear.

Grow the Fuck up and Grow a pair.  Accept the Loss like a Man!

Green Bay is Lucky the Giants didn't put up a 50 on them.

Now it the Bank, make a withdrawal and pay your Man.

losing your first playoff game after going 15-1 has got to be one of the most embarassing ways to end a season. Letgopack you should be ashamed of yourself. Since you bathe your pride in their victories, you most wallow in their shit. How does a team go 15-1 & let you down like that. Dont they realize they have your ego in their hands? just saw how you are 29. What a LOL, you got into the packers because of brett favre. Did you know what a god awful team they were before your boy hero favre played. We all know you would never have given them the time of day. You woulda been on the jim mcmahon bandwagon if you were a little older. you should look at yourself in the miror & ask youself why you spread so much hate & arrogance, why you think your so special because you choose the easy teams. your a fat slob zero whose whole life depends on the packers winning. Go ahead crybaby, cry.

"Congrats on all of you never feeling great about a game and it never losing....

Nobody on covers.com ever loses a bet...I know

I don't see barely any of you post picks....instead you bump peoples threads when they lose."

    LETGOPACK...

I just can't imagine that you can't see what a an arrogant sissyboy attitude your taking about this.  You posted your first impression of the game, and saw the responses.  Haven't you learned after a few days away from the initial post that your just WRONG>!

It's like I said earlier....you are flat ruining your reputation here as a good poster and informative capper.  If you don't own up to your blinded version of this game, you will be the biggest joke in here since Sammy Pizza and every joker that says LOCK and EASY money.

i want you back!  But people will have to see some sort of change in attitude towards the reality of that game.

Good luck on getting your reputation back, cause I for one would like to see you show some humility and make everyone in here SHUT UP.

Someone asked Parcells if he was resting players one year in this scenario-he said-is there a game on the schedule? Then they're playing! When you worry about getting hurt, that's exactly what happens...do you think they'll all sit next year????
