SF comes in hot, going 9-3 into this game.  But, when you break it down, they only beat the Rams(divisional game) and Bengals with winning records.....still coming in hot.  Then, a Dallas team which, well is Dallas.

The past few times, SF has owned GB, especially in the playoffs.  The games havent been pretty.  But, this Saturday will be different.

GB has been playing short-handed the last 8-10 weeks, but now they will have the majority of their studs back...Bakhtiari, Alexander should be back, and Smith should play.  This will be the best defense GB has had in their last meetings with SF.

SF ranks 31st in the league in defending a teams #1 Wr....and GB just so happens to have the #1 WR in the game.  SF ranks 3rd to last in defending passes deeper than 15yds...which just so happens to be Rodgers best ball.

SF has a very good D, but their D is strong upfront, their secondary is not their strong point.  Add to it, that even if they play Bosa and Warner wont be 100%.  GB line is much better than it was the last few years that they played.

Jimmy G....Jimmy G is a turnover waiting to happen.  He should have had about 4 in the Dallas game.  If, and it is a big IF, Gb is able to open up a 2 score lead, Jimmy G is not the QB you want to comeback.  SF needs to score first which they very possibly might, and rely on the run game.  Jimmy throws atleast 1 pick 6, maybe 2.

The weather.  It is most likely going to be 0-5 degrees during the game.  The last few games SF came into GB and won, its always been above 30 degrees.  This weather for the first time, will be a factor in this meeting....especially a team coming from SF.

SF has clowned GB pretty bad the last few playoff meetings, but this GB team is just different than years past.  Back to back losses in the NFC Championship, followed by another #1 seed....this is the year Rodgers gets back to the Superbowl....

GB wins this game by double-digits peace_5

Bosa and Warner injuries are huge...night game in wisconsin take it thats going to be monkey nuts territory...rodgers against the 9ers secondary...without bosa hes going to have time to throw...trying to see where 9ers have a significant edge..maybe shanhan comes up with a smash the ball down the throat game plan for 60mins...maybe..

...sitting on a 50/1 futures bet on the 9ers...time to cash it in count some profits and bet the pack on the spread....

Couldn't agree more. Alot of 49er luv going into this game. This isn't Dallas. Not even close. I'll be writing a few words of my own later this week but you hit some good points. Good job. Can't wait, best pick of the weekend!peace_5

Pack is great on paper but Rodgers becomes a choke artist in playoffs.

Idk how he can dominate every regular season then choke constantly in playoffs.

Is this the year he gets it done?

Last year same story dominating everyone all year homefield advantage one impressive win against the Rams then a disgrace in the NFC title game at home to Brady

That SF secondary will be like a piece of tres leches cake to Rodgers...he is going to have fun slicing and dicing with his receivers wide open downfield. Those DBs are horrid.

No doubt the 49ers will be able to run on GB but there will come a time when they will have to go to the air...perhaps in coming from behind...the weather will be a factor for sure.

Shanny's balls shrivel when the game gets tight or lead shrinks.. the gut and nerves of Niners not going for it or trying to go for it on 4th and inches and fuking up will cost them in green Bay. Even tho they got the win didn't felt good how that game ended..

Sip on that plus money honey!

    LETGOPACK1234 - I could not agree more!

I Posted this is another thread yesterday.

Packers will BEAT the 49ers even if Bosa plays and it won't be close. If you think San Fran is going to come to Green Bay and walk away with a win your deluded. Here is why.

#1) Temps are going to bone chilling Saturday night in Green Bay. Nite game temps probably will be around 10-15 Degrees.  Heavily favors Green Bay.

#2) Packers have key players on defense returning. Z. Smith & Mercilus will be back on Defense. There is no Film of R. Gary & Smith this year! San Fran has no idea what combinations may be coming.

#3) Both our running backs Jones and Dillon will have big days. Our Pro Bowl left tackle back in the Line Up for 2nd time.

#4) San Fran's weak point is their QB period,( Not that he's bad however J.G will struggle in the cold. The Pack will force J.G to throw the ball, Gary OUR version of Bosa will force some T/O's

#5) The combination of Lefluer, Rogers, Adams, Dillon and Jones is to deadly for San Fran to overcome.

Been a number of years since I have posted. Great to see the forum is alive and well!!

Have to agree with everyone on the pack, just hopefully we're not wrong again. We've seen this movie before. I also agree that GB has the best team they have had in a long time. I get the point made about GB opening up with a 2 score lead. My fear is that the 9ers open up with a 2 score lead. With a running game like that, 2 scores could be hard to come back against. We always like to assume that these monster teams like GB will come out and smash everyone on their way to a superbowl. Then kickoff happens. Something goes wrong. The underdog strikes first. Then again. Then next thing we know we need a team down by 2 TDs to come back and cover a 6 point spread. Love rodgers and crew but don't believe in Matt Lafluer, and his ability to coach could be huge in this game. If we see a GB team that wants to piss away downs by slamming the run game into a tough 49 D line this game could get ugly. Also can't understand why GB never has any timeouts left when they need them most. Rodgers never seems to let us down but he also needs solid protection all game. These elite qbs are not elite when they are running backwards all game. Will most likely be on GB but, not so sure as some of the rest of you. GL either way guys.

I have seen a lot of teams run all over GB.  Also, every QB becomes average and makes mistakes under pressure.  SF does not need to count on passing, they will run and mix the pass in as needed, which means that will limit Jimmy G's chances of mistakes!

    Bills ML

    SF + the points

    Rams + the points

    Titans ML

Only thing is… Shannan. Guy can call the best games sometimes, so it’s scary to adjust to that.

As a Niners fan, I think we have a very small shot here, but I am insanely bias.

However… If he can establish the run, it will be very difficult for the packers to stop it. Remember 49ers utilize multiple angles of running, they attack A, B, & C gaps…

However, Jimmy G is a liability and a half.

    Go Niners!

I agree and already have the packers on the winning end of 2 teasers at +1.5 . Unless Rodgers gets hurt I don't see them losing Again at home. Last year's play calling and Rodgers not running it in cost this team dearly.

A lot of love for the Bengals and I love the Titans in this one w or w out Henry. Bengals are terrible in the red zone too.

I like KC again , have no clue w the Rams vs Tampa, maybe tease Rams to +13 w Packers and some NBA team. peace

Alot of people thought PHILLYs top ranked rushing attack would run right through the Bucs as their rush defense had struggled recently. But they got back LBs Shaq Barrett and Lavonte David off injury and shut them down. Yes, they got a few yards when it was 31-0, so what. The Packers return LBs All pro Za'darius Smith , Whitney Mercilus, and All pro CB Jaire Alexander. Early on they were good against the run, steering runs up the middle to Kenny Clark. After Mercilus got hurt they lost the edge and much needed depth. Za'darius got hurt game 1 vs the Saints. If these guys are in playing shape, this defense is different and will once again be more difficult to run on, much like the Bucs were against the Eagles. Key players, and depth, matter in the NFL.

49ets at least cover.  I hope they take the most arrogant athlete to the woodshed.  Bet with your head not your heart!.  Packers barely beat Baltimore and Cleveland.  Lost to New Orleans,  Minnesota.  They ain't all that!

But you didn’t mention green  bay has beaten 49ers twice in the past 2 season. 49ers got revenge on their mind too especially losing at home. I see this as close game and Green Bay coming away by 3. No way Green Bay trounces on this 49ers team like these wild card games have been.
