I like the Eagles but I'm nervous about one thing- Andy Reid just doesn't seem to be giving Vince Young the vote of confidene- splitting snaps with Kafka on Wednesday, listing Vick as questionable on Friday when he was pretty much out, I really think the Eagles step up but this is really bothering me and backup QBs need to know their coach has their back

Not Really.  Two words Tim Tebow.  Fox and Elway had no confidence in him and look what he has done.

Mtbaker that's just gonna fuel Vince young even more if that's the case. He's been hearing he can't do it and isn't a starting caliber qb ever since jeff fisher relieved him of his job. He'll be ready to play with or without Andy Reid on his side

this is your favorite play of the year, qb out along with Maclin up against a team desperate for playoff success and Manning finally putting all together

why not take Atlanta or even the red-hot Packers which both would give you better chance of making $$$ than this coin toss of a game

tough game. gmen are really tough but not good as favs. eagles are soft with absolutely no heart.  gmen looks so easy tho  as does the bears thats why i am temopted to take  san diego and philly.

also maybe they will give mccoy the ball now 25 plus times like they should every game

The Giants lost BOTH games to the Eagles last year.  They'd love to end the Eagle's playoff hopes here.  If you're not on the Giants, this is not a play.  Vick or no Vick, Giants want their revenge.  G-men steamroll in this game.

The Eagles (3-6) have failed to win games as an 9pt (Giants), 8pt (Bears), and 14 pt (Cardinals) favorite at home. Something is clearly wrong with this team and you believe Vince Young who hasn't played a game in nearly a year without Maclin will beat the Giants on national TV in New York.

Andy Reid and his staff aren't even smart enough to shut down Fitzgerald with Nnamdi last week after he previously held Fitz to 2 catches for 25 yards last season. This team will now fold like a lawn chair because they have no heart. Let's hope one of their best playmakers (the ones they have left) doesn't miss a meeting and get deactivated.

You deserve a lot more than +220 if this happens...

All the reasons you guys stated above is exactly what all the public is thinking and why I love my eagles ML bet even more. Eagles just lost as 14 point favorites to the cardinals how the hell can they beat the giants without Vick? Mhmm

I don't necessarily back the play, but I can definitely see the Eagles come out with extra intensity like you mentioned and with a better gameplan(smashmouth instead of that pussyfoot shit), I wouldn't be shocked if they win this one.

Long time Giants fan and I am not being a homer here, this is a bad bet.
They might...might cover points but Giants win the game.
You would really bet on Vince Young against the Giants and their front four at home?
Bad bet...I am taking the Eagles and the points and hoping I lose, lol.
Seriously though, no way eagles win straight up, team is done for the season and this is NOT the same Giants team from last year, they are more focused and no with the Cowboys one game behind and the Saints and GB coming up this is a must win.

This is a train-wreck of an idea.  If the Eagles had anything left they would have shown it last week.  You could line up Vince Young, Vince Ferragamo, or Vinny Barbarino behind these clowns, it just ain't happening.

The Eagles dominated this series last year when the games MATTERED.  This game does not matter to the Eagles.  they are done after last week and they know it.  And if you watched them, you know it.  It is a self-destructive nature that makes or endorses a play like this.

damn, i really hope you're right.. i'm a HUGE philly fan but i'm really thinking they get the shit kicked out of them tomorrow.  eagles are falling apart and i can't see them winning this game.. but, like i said, if you are right, i'll be thrilled.

As someone who went to UT and followed VY's career from college through the pros, I personally think you are vastly overrating Young's ability as "a winner".  In college, he got by on sheer athletic ability - and the fact that UT played maybe two tough games a year, and while Young was a monster against USC - he has the most fragile psyche in the entire NFL.  And it's not close.  When things aren't going his way, he can't deal with it.  And he's not one to practice.  We're talking about practice.  It's just practice.  Yeah, VY won some games in Nashville, and STILL got run out of town by an owner that loved him.

I'm not saying your play can't win.  It's interesting - and I wish you luck with your play of the year - but I for one could never put my bet of the year in VY's hands.
