This is from ESPN's site:

The inflatable teflon roof of the Metrodome in Minneapolis has collapsed under the weight of snow after a heavy storm passed through Saturday, according to local media reports.

The roof's failure called into question the Minnesota Vikings' Monday night game against the New York Giants, which was already postponed after the Giants' flight was diverted Saturday to Kansas City as air travel was shut down in and out of Minnesota.

A photograph published on the website of KARE 11 TV shows the Metrodome in darkness, void of the familiar white expanse that normally covers the Vikings' stadium.

Wow, can't believe it actually happen, i couldn't find anything about it when the post originated and wasn't sure. Yea Twins stadium possibly, but i don't know if they could get it ready by tomm night?

Gophers stadium was made solely for football. I don't know if the Twins stadium can be easily configured for football.

it's a fucking joke already w/ this piece of shit dome like shit relying on fans to keep the roof up??  WTF??  Time for a new stadium??  Baseball team gets one why are Viking playing in this shithole and fans subjected to possible injury everytime they step foot in the place?

It's not only a piece of shit on the outside, it's a dump on the inside as well. I moved there in November of 82 and the next month, the thing collapsed. That's 28 years ago and obviously they still never did any disaster/recovery/contingency engineering efforts. It's the worst stadium in the country.
