This is the craziest regular season beginning two weeks ago and once the teams gained back the control of their muscles - the long forgotten (since the beginning of the season) love for Vegas is back in full strength. The Giants beat the Seahawks in Seattle. Washington beats the Steelers in Pittsburgh, so the Cowboys, why not them copy catting that and at the least covering in Baltimore. Why? Because all the possible trends and after the game is over hindsight based stats are screaming Baltimore while the line is moving against the money dropping from the Ravens -10 to the Ravens -8.5. The public loves it and unless Vegas is in for early Xmas - I do not buy it. Now, please remember that there are times I am wrong and too carried away in my contrarianism. Yes. And you do not have to jump with me off the cliff if you feel off the cliff is where I am jumping from. But, if you do follow this pick - do it with NO FEAR. Hands down.  Cowboys +8.5 NO FEAR COWGIRLS +8.5 Because of people with no class like you who have no life other than posting 40659 (!!!) posts - serious people like 14allall41 lose desire posting here.  You, who is probably afraid to show yourself in a daylight otherwise it is unheard of posting over 40000 posts. You must be one of those hated gamblers who are happy at other people's loss. Otherwise you'd have no business reacting in a way you did to a person with 11-4 record you imbecile

    @HeyJoe

     Please do not talk in my name like you know what I feel and what will make me stop posting. You only encourage negativity with the kind of reaction to lucyguy's post. You can be rest assured my shoulders are broad enough to carry this thread and protect our financial interests deriving from the quality of my picks  - ON MY OWN. No need to protect me or react in my name. Losses are always followed in way more reaction than the wins. And for a reason. There are way more losers than winners. That is very important to understand if you want to be a leader. And me, yes, I'm a born leader and the days here will tell. I'm a positive and experienced person in life in general and sports betting in particular. That experience didn't come easily and cost me lots of resources - financial and physical. Now, when I feel I'm ready to share it with brothers and sisters - I'm doing that and no human will be able to stop me if I will stay focused and positive. So, a person who reacts in one way or another to my posts is more than welcome to do thatan_light

    Ok. Here we go with the Thursday Night Football. And, this time we are finally presented with the match that makes you plan your day a week ahead so no accidental meeting or a chore interferes with the kick off time which is roughly 70 minutes away.

    The Rams against the Pats for the first time since Belichick humiliated McVay with a 13-3 Super Bowl win in February 2019. Yes, when I say Belichick humiliated McVay - that is exactly what I mean cause it was not Patriots humiliating the Rams. Well, may be a little bit. But, the reason for that result was Belichick outcoaching McVay who had later admitted he has overcoached his team and was the primary reason the Rams looked ridiculously inept in that game.
    I respected McVay before that and after that my respect grew thousand fold. I marked to myself that it will an interesting match up to see how McVay goes around and avenges the loss and more than that - avenges the humiliation.

    Fortunately for the Rams and McVay - today's Pats do not resemble the old Pats in any way but by being coached by the same mighty Belichick. Besides that - there is almost no resemblance. Brady and Bronc are not there anymore and the pats are not the same scary team you either supported or stayed away but never went against them cause everything was depending on them.

    The Rams boast one of the best defenses in a league. The Patriots have the NFL's third-best rushing offense with 150.9 yards per game, but, the Rams have the league's third-best rushing defense, allowing 93.1 yards per game. The Rams are best in the NFL in passing defense allowing 198.1 yards per game and are overall 5th in the league allowing 20.3 points per game. The Pats are nowhere in that area offensively and when you think Cam Newton you better also remember Aaron Donald second in the NFL with 11 sacks. I know. Goff. And Belichick is sure counting on that. He will try to terrorize Goff who was criticized even by his coach McVay but responded great to that last Sunday.

    At all, the Rams lost only once in their last 4 and that loss too came as the result of freak personal performance by the Niner's Deebo Samuel. That won't happen today as McVay has made his homework.

    So, if it so, why the line has been dropping whole day and became -4.5 he Rams?

    Well some will explain it with the Pats not having to travel and the others with their convincing 45-0 trashing of the Chargers at the same SoFi stadium just 5 days ago and the others will blame Goff in all that with his shaking knees when seeing the Patriots.

    I think the line drop has to with the conviction this is going to be the game of the trenches with lots of defense and very little offense.

    Honestly this thread is refreshing and as coffee shop mentioned , peaceful . Keep up the great work and insight. I enjoy checking your thread the day of nfl games and have often been tailing lately like I’m sure many others have . Great calls on the 3 winners tonight . Guys , stop the bs for once on peoples threads . From an outsider looking in, you all look like fools arguing
