Detroit Lions

Kind of hard to back this team at 6-6.5 considering the emotional side..Goff barely defeating a team and coach that abandoned him.. let alone the fact that Detroit hasnt won a playoff game since 1991 I believe.. emotional win overall for the whole franchise.. good for them

obviously Detroit is the better team.. besides Baker Mayfield Tampabay has been here before.. so the question is..

Is there too much pressure on Baker Mayfield just to keep it close let alone win SU?

Goff passed for 353 yards in Tampabay.. The score was Detroit 20-6 the last time these teams met and Tampabay was off of a bye week..

Detroit should have success pressuring baker Mayfield.. Evans seems to be slowing down a bit but still can make a difference.. Godwin is being used a little more than before.. 

There are some pretty big Favorites this week

•Baltimore-Texans are a nice story..CJ Stroud is a legit quarterback he can only get better over the years.. but this is a road game in a hostile environment.. in my opinion they just simply don’t have the horses without Tank Dell and Noah brown not playing and Nico Collin’s is awesome but that’s only one player and he could possibly be shut down with a focused effort.. also the run game to me could be better.. they definitely overachieved can’t wait to see the headlines of who’s the better team Dallas or Texans the next several years.. Jerry better step his game up

•San Francisco- Greenbay the first half of the season everyone was talking bad on Jordan Love then they had a few nice wins late in the season.. 1 versus the Rams in a 20-3win with 1INT AND 1FUMBLE recovery..      2 versus the Detroit Lions 29-22 win with 3fumble recoveries 1 TD.. 3 versus Kansas City 27-19 win with 1 INT.. the losses  @Atlanta..@Las Vegas..@Denver..@NYG don’t bother me as much even though they were on the road but they had 2red flags.. @Steelers when they lost 23-19 and most of all the amount of points given up to BRYCE YOUNG! @Carolina panthers 33-30.. 

Detroit-Tampabays Rachaad White with a dose of rush yards and reception yards has been looking pretty good..Evans can ball.. Godwin can ball looking at Over props.. they should use Cade Otton a little more.. the defense can definitely get to the quarterback.. if they can slow down the run game and force the pass with Goff off his spot there is a good chance they can at least cover..

out of these favorites to me the most likely to not cover has to be Detroit in a let down spot.. leaning Tampabay for now

Favorite will cover this weekend. GB played with garbage Cowgirls, which played no defense. Houston played at home last weekend. It's a different animal this weekend

The Philly game is fooling everyone. TB only scored 9 points in Caroline. Lost at home to NO 13-23. There offense has scored 9 and 13 points in games they needed to win.

TB plays home games on Burmuda grass. Detroit plays on monofilament field turf. and no Florida humidity.

Det. 36-17 over TB.

 That was lions first home playoff game in 30 years, first win in 32, there was a lot of pressure, but now the monkey is off their back.  If they were dominant vs rams I would say this is a letdown spot, but they sqeaked by, so it doesn't feel that way.  They  beat bucs 20-6 in tampa earlier in the year, now the game is in det where they are 7-2 this season.

Lastly this game qualifies for me personally as a day later or game later effect.  That is when you lose a bet (esp a big bet) it tends to come in at a very high rate the following game, this has happened to me sooo many times.  So I had det -3 over rams one of my bigger bets this year and they didn't cover so naturally I am hesitant to bet them, but my own personal history (and probably many on this site) tells me they likely cover comfortably the next game.

So from your point of view being a first time playoff team since the last time Detroit hosted a playoff game which was 94 is not a big deal.. or Goff basically win his own Super Bowl proving something to his old team in a “revenge game”.. in an emotional rollercoaster decided by 1 point which they could have lost if Mcvay doesn’t do a stupid and waste all his timeouts.. they couldn’t possibly come out flat? Considering the celebrating like they had some huge accomplishment.. which they did

considering Tampabay basically had the Eagles in the game.. but I feel like that’s the way they play.. they have been ugly all season 

vs Atlanta they lost 13-16

@ Buffalo they lost 18-24 (Playoff team)

@ Houston they lost 37-39 (Playoff team)

they have had 7 games this season won or lost decided by one score.. 6 of them by 6 or less.. they also won @Greenbay 34-20 (Playoff team)

Tampa Bay's defense has largely survived off high leverage plays forcing 15 turnovers and being one of the best red zone defenses in the league their struggles have stemmed from soft zone coverage leading to more big plays than are typical with a Bowles defense they’re pretty good at stopping the run but stopping the pass is there issue..they can definitely create some pressure and sack Goff Tampabay Buccaneers sacked the quarterback 48 times this season.. 

im most likely not going to make a play but like the the conversation just to see other points of views that could possibly help me make a better decision
