Anyone tell me why I shouldn't pound the Lions, except all that letdown gibberish ?
Lions clearly the better team, offensive weapons all over ... their defensive front will give a very hard time to Alex Smith. Niners don't have any decent receivers (nope, Crabtree is nothing special), as Josh Morgan broke his foot. I know Niners were great in winning in Philly, but that game could have been easily closed by the Eagles earlier. They still have to prove they can play good and win on the road.

weell 1 thing for sure the 49ers decided to unload 48 points against a halpless Tampa Bay 3 point dog who only scored 3 points THEY both beat Tampa BUT lions did it in Tampa
49ers cannot BE run on very stout front 7 Lions i think have semi let down and 49ers cover
Detroit isnt that far east for San Fran they are borderline central time they are in west side Michigan

They've won 2 games in the Eastern time zone already. How much proof do you need?
Here's a thought experiment: What if you didn't know which team the Lions were playing next.....only that in the last 2 games, the mystery team had overcome a 20 point deficit to beat the Eagles in Philly, then destroyed the Bucs 48-3. Are you still OK layin' - 4.5 to that team?

Offensively IMO even though Detroit are 5-0 they are only slightly better than SF. Similar story in defense. Det are now the 4th most penalised team in the league. I agree if your going to pick a side on this game DET has the value there but i think its only maybe 2points.
