Bengals entered the season with high hopes after an encouraging 2001
finish. But despite some noteworthy individual performances, the team
sunk to the worst record (2-14) in franchise history. The team was hit
hard by injuries, losing the league's second-highest number of games by
starters. The offense got off to a very slow start with free agent
signee Gus Frerotte at QB, and Cincinnati was outscored 119-23 in the first four games. The offense perked up noticeably after 2001 starter, Jon Kitna,
returned to the No. 1 QB role. The Bengals set a team record for pass
completions (350). But the team was 0-7 before getting a win at Houston.
The defense was inconsistent, and with nine touchdowns allowed on
special teams or by the offense, the Bengals as a team allowed the
second-most points (456) in club history. On Dec. 30, it was announced
that head coach Dick LeBeau would not be retained for 2003.

The only game Dallas cover this year is also against Houston - LOL - Since then they have failed to cover 4 straight week. May be I will take them after 7 weeks - LOL again.
I have told myself not to place any bet on Dallas for the rest of the season. It is just bad logic to bet on them or against them.

FWIW, I Love where your heads at and to some extent, I agree with you. Im not surprised that "most" responses dislike your Dallas play (i am surprised at all the "hate responses" though!) .... The ML Bet will definitely take some Balls, but Im beginning to strongly "like" the +8... Youre 100% right about saying Dallas "finally has some value", as the books have been showing them far too much respect, despite their awful start, and now the books finally have them dogged by "more than a TD"... as you said, GB coming off that big Win against the NYJ and the Boys just looking completely hopeless against pretty much anyone... not hating at all as i tend to agree this line is pretty inflated and there a real good chance they cover this spread, but i think a GB loss in this game would shock me about as much as anything that could happen this year.....

Anybody who thinks Dallas wins this game or even covers is out of their mind in my opinion. I am a huge Cowboy fan and this team is toast. Our OL flat out sucks, Kitna flat out sucks, our ILB's flat out suck and our safeties flat out suck. Oh i forgot our special teams flat out suck and 2 of our top 3 Cb's are banged up so they flat out suck. Now we get to play our first game on the road with Kitna. Imagine how many false starts we are going to have with a new qb on the road. Combine that with bad coaching and a reduced gameplan because we are working on "fundamentals" this week, and this game has GB 28-10 written all over it.
