i understand y they wanted to get in the center of the field for the field goal. but it was only like 1 to 2 extra feet to the the left. but my question is why didnt they save 4th down for a throw to the endzone in case of a missed field goal??????

If you miss the field goal your possession is over....

Because Romo probably would have thrown an interception and if incomplete it would have stopped the clock.

you would last 30 seconds as an NFL coach.&#xD;&#xA;25 yard FG or less in the NFL will be hit over 90% of the time easily. if you throw it in the endzone it could easily be picked.
