Wow that is so dumb when a team trails by 2 after a TD, late in the 3rd quarter, and they go for the PAT rather than go for 2. Just dumb.

HOW IS IT DUMB...DO THE MATH....IF THEY DONT GET IT THERE DOWN BY2....DALLAS SCORES AGAIN THEN ITS A TWO SCORE GAME (9PTS) ITS THE FREAKING 3Q.....PLENTY OF TIME....EVEN IF DALLAS DOES SCORE ITS STILL A ONE SCORE GAME.....

There's ZERO upside to kicking the pat there. And there's very little downside if you don't make it going for 2. In fact, you find out if you would have made it should you be pressed into doing it later (if Dallas scores a TD for example)...
