I couldn't agree with you more...Jets have been playing well and Bengals haven't. Jets got the best D and will blitz blitz blitz with the revis man up on Ocho....Rex Ryan was D coordinator for Ravens and coached against Bengals quite a few times and knows tendencies...

I also think marvin Lewis was worried b/c he left his starters into the third b/c his starters were getting smashed and i think even though the game didn't mean anything he was worried about how he's team would come back mentally and Rex Ryan has the Jets believing right now they can beat anyone. Just saying i think the Jets will suprise ppl with their D and Offensive Line and running attack. If sanchez can limit mistakes Jets win if he throws four picks see ya later but they will not put him in that situation. Jets are riding high physically mentally...Bengals look like they are going the other way... They peaked! GL ALL

Blocked punts? Interception returns?

Revis will shut down 85 forcing Benson to run all day. Jets run D is excellent, so the clock will move all day.

Jets will be conservative with their running game not wanting Sanchez to ruin their playoffs keeping the clock moving.

I know it's a low total at 34, but the Bengals defense is excellent at home and the Jets won't ram it down their throats like last Sunday and will be prepared for the wildcat.

Neither team can pass. Both teams can run, but both teams are stingy against the run. No shot to exploit a weakness.

I don't know how you can choose a side in this game. Sanchez stinks, Palmer won't get it done, both teams have good ground games but both teams will be focusing on stopping it.

What gives?

Like i said im a big Bengals fan but matchup is a horror for Cincy..Jets stop what Bengals do best on offense...The Run..Revis negates Chad O....Hope im wrong

mark sanchez, playing at cincinnati, not at jets...completely different then last gm, croud will be really loud, bengals have been wating a long time for a playoff gm at home, i say they rollll....3 ints for sanchez..........BOL....but dont overthink this he is a ROOKIE QB

I'm taking the under 34 thanks to your insights. With Cincy on offense struggling and going against the Jets D, then throw in Sanchez who has been erratic, and imho it'll be a very low scoring game.

jet will win it if their defense get enough rest on the field so all they do is run the ball dont throw long pass so that they can avoid the interception and let the defense take care the rest because their quarter back is sting.

I like teams that are peaking in the run up to the playoffs. ARZ last year a good example. Teams that think they can just switch on the light for the playoffs, go home in the Dark.

before last week jets have lost 6 of 7 im pretty sure sooo there not really a hot team comin in they just played the bengals who didnt want to win n sat players, people forget about the jets this year just bc last gm...not me

People have such short memories.

Why hone in on a meaningless Week 17 game? The Jets lost at home in Week 15 to Atlanta when they were already playing desperate "playoff football".

CIN is the better team but keep pounding the NYJ so the line drops for me.

Couldn't agree more...It's one thing if teams shutdown for week 17 but teams play really well the last month especially GB whose played great the last two months and Dallas has been playing well since the Giants loss usually come into the playoffs confident

2 words darell revis he will shut down ocho cinco like every other star wr this season.

Everyone on the bengals offense is hurting and henry's dead ever since he's been gone there's been no other wr to take the pressure off 85 and they have been loosing. rembember when the ravens had the best d and won the superbowl who was their qb? trent dilfer and he got cut the following year defense wins playoff games. the jets d and running game will do enough so sanchez doesnt have 2 in a low scoring affair.
