Anyone who has lost too many bets in a row has had this heavenly thought cross their mind. In an alleged 50/50 world of sportsbetting, I've had losing streaks that deviated so far from the mean that the tables in my statistics book showed that type of losing streak occuring only once in a 500,000-bets sample, a number of bets that would take me several lifetimes to accumulate. It certainly did not "have to" happen, but if you can put a number on it, even a .0005% chance, it can and will happen at some point to someone. It has been my experience that the cynicism that comes along with these types of streaks is toxic. Keep your head up. Take my word for it, the cosmos is not perfectly aligned against you. Be strong young grasshopper. You are temporarily dealing with unfortunate circumstances from which you will overcome.
