Consider what you saw today and what you didnt see.
Warner threw less than 10 passes and was outta there by the second quarter.
Dockett didnt even play, DRC was out most of the game, the Cards werent even trying.
Now Green Bay had most of their starters in until the early 4th quarter and looked very good against the second string of the Cards. Same goes for the preseason game, the Cards were both missing several players and didnt play most of the first string much at all.
If the line was made based on this game alone it would be Green Bay -3 but Vegas knows who played the game to be safe and who played 75% of it for real..
I dont see Rodgers getting that much time in the pocket with Dockett playing and the Cards pressuring as they always do.
Not many know that the Cards had 43 sacks this season and even with not trying today they were only 5 behind the Vikings and in 5th place.
Dont expect a lay down next week like you saw today.
Thats why they call you the Wallstreetcapper

You fellas make it sound that anyone who likes the Packers does so because of their monster win today.
I think Kurt Warner playing in the cold is a factor that a lot of people really need to consider. Look at his performance in cold-weather games. It's atrocious. Even a couple of weeks ago against the 49ers when the game temp got under 40 degrees, he struggled mightily. The Thanksgiving game last year in Philly also comes to mind. This week he'll be entering the Meca of cold--Lambeau Field.
Packers have the better defense, the better QB, and are at home. I acknowledge that it'll be difficult disposing of the defending NFC champs, but this is a Packer team that is loaded with talent on both sides of the ball, that for some reason hasn't gotten the dap it deserves.

If the Packers were getting +3 at home, I would empty my account on them... The game is in Zona.

The betting public will 100% pound the Packers due to this meaningless week 17 win with Leinart playing. Give me the Cards all day with a fully rested team at home with a short line.
Oh so do you really believe that "we" the betting public will bet our money based soley on this one meaningless game. Thanks for the credit.

Not often we see eye to eye, but I knew this had to be one of them.
Well that isnt my exact write up on the game, rather a comment of what happened yesterday.
I still think that Green Bay presents problems that no other team does for the Cards..it is going to be a TOUGH game for Arizona because Green Bay is a smart team who has both a running game and a complete passing game.
One thing for sure, the Arizona offense wont sputter like it did yesterday with Matty at QB, he played horrid and it might be his last game in Arizona (I hope so anyway) since he is due a big roster bonus next year.
This might seem simplistic but to me the key to Arizona's success lies in how we decide to block/protect Warner and open lanes for Wells/Hightower. Yesterday you didnt see Kreider in much if at all, nor was there any TE formations which you will see this week.
If Arizona chip blocks and goes max protect for Warner, to make up for the shoddy OE play then I REALLY like the chances to win and easily. I worry quite a bit about Wisenhunt and his lack of creativity and the inability to adjust in-game, he is very poor at it..and the way the team comes out in the 3rd quarter so flat is an indicator of this problem. Last year the Cards killed it in the 3rd quarter with Haley as OC, this year they have stumbled in most games coming out conservative and flat. The team never uses the HUPO offense, rarely has creative plays to stretch the field.
I think Wisenhunt is a horrible OC and it could be the reason that we lose in the playoffs, that and the fact of Billy Davis not being much better than Clancy was last year. For how badly Clancy gets bashed, the Cards are WORSE in overall defense and had it not been for an easier 2nd half schedule, I think they lose the division. If the Cards had last years schedule this year, the defense would have been exposed and they probably lose the division.

ah yes! do you know anyone that gambles on sports?
believe me not everyone watches the entire games. in fact most ppl that bet on the games dont. most ppl have lives!
i have my degenerates friends that dont know shit about football and bet religiously. thats the way it is.
ppl will see the box scores and listen to the talking heads to make their assumptions.
the fact is that the cards showed absolutely no schemes today and held a lot of players out whereas the packers went full tilt to win the game with all their starters!
that was a huge mistake. arizona is going to blow them out.
anquan is fine. hes always a little dinked up. dockett and DRC will be back and the cards wont be fooling around.
watch the games yesterday. look at the pats they were playing 5 linebackers on the line the entire 2nd half. it was a clusterfuck of scheming.
the real football will be played next week.
If you read the original post he states 100% of the betting public. That my friend also includes you and your friends. I for one would like to think im smart enough to distance myself from this one game. That was my point. As a matter of fact i didnt even watch the game as i knew it meant nothing. Why cloud your mind with meaningless play. And thats coming from a diehard Packer fan. So while your friends may wager this way i can asure you i and im

I will take what ever pts they give packers....hell I would take packers at -4 not because I'm a fan but because the simply facts of strong defense, strong offense. Its not regular season here boys, its the fin playoffs so what ever you think you know you don't. Tell me you saw Cards last year going to SB? Please...
As for what happens after this with vikings...who gives a shit...lets focus on this one.
Cards had a nice run last year. It was a cute fairy tail cinderalla story. Warner will go back to his charity after this weekend, maybe stock a few grocery bags and to all you card fans can be a fan cheer on the inside but win on the outside with cash in your wallet...5 picks sounds about right for warner or leinart
the Packers will be looking for blood. This is going to be a blow out...
Hoping line goes up and up and up.....

I see it opposite Wallstreet...I think the excuse here for the Cards is they didn't play anyone and that is why they were blown out. Why wouldn't everyone jump on the Cards -2.5 knowing this, playing at home, and w/ the run they made last year. It's someone else's turn this year and I think it's Green Bay...they are flying under the radar w/ Dallas, NO, and Minny getting all the love in the NFC. Also, I think GB wants another shot at Favre and the Vikes if Philly can knock off the Boys or meet in the NFC title game w/ something on the line.

Keep in mind defense wins championships. Green Bay #1 defense. #1 also in turnover ratio. Arizona bad in turnovers and ranks #11 in defense. With their top ranked defense they have a pretty darn good offense with the running game now working along with Rodgers and the passing game. True, the Packers are the public play here as over 70% of the bets placed are on the Packers....but the public wins too. Arizona also has less motivation imo because they went to Superbowl last year....Packers are trying to prove they are better than last years record and they have a young squad with excellent team chemistry. The other factor to consider is Boldin is not 100% which will allow the Packers to concentrate more on Fitzgerald. With the public on this one and the momentum...Packers +3

Is there such a thing as less motivation in the playoffs?
I doubt that the Packers have any more motivation than any other team playing.
That is just silly logic.
I think the mirage of the Pack defense is exaggerated. Look at their schedule and who they have played, I think the reality is the defense is good but not top in the league.
It should be a good game for sure.

Many are over-reacting to Zona's run to the SB last season. Last season is just that, last season, and has nothing to do with this season.
Teams with less than 11 wins rarely make the SB.
Zona got hot at the right time last season, chances that the same team with fewer than 11 wins will get hot 2 years in a row ?? Well, let's just say it's never happened in history.
Good luck if you think Zona's beating Green Bay, not gonna happen.

I feel best matchup of the weekend. Good points/ counterpoints for all folks posting. GB "hot" team now, AZ laid down last week. A smart wagerer would definitely TEASE GB plus the points with whover you like this weekend. This WILL be a close game. Like the OVER here too, should be entertaining wild fun game. GL to all
