There is also the X factor of extra motivation for the Saints since they have played 3 straight games at Soldier Field since 2006 and lost all of them.  From the Saints point of view (especially fans that were subject to many Katrina insults in '06), this is a game they have had circled and will be treated almost like a rivalry game.

In all his years with the Saints, Brees is one of the least sacked QBs in the league.  "Killing" Brees just doesn't happen.  Doesn't mean the Bears won't have a solid outing, but a repeat of last week is highly unlikely.  Nay, impossible.

I agree with you.  My numbers show Chicago much higher YPPA at 29, to NO 9.  Defense is not getting credit, they could win this game SU.  Chic also held the ball 6 minutes more longer than NO in first game.

Getting almost a TD vs the Saints?

Bears seem like a dog that could win straight up to me.

I agree with you.  My numbers show Chicago much higher YPPA at 29, to NO 9.  Defense is not getting credit, they could win this game SU.  Chic also held the ball 6 minutes more longer than NO in first game.

You bet you're fucking ass Da Bears are gettin' dis-re-speck-ted!

I never bet on my team... but I am seriously almost tempted to do so.

Urlacher is going to be a MACHINE out there tomorrow...

But I'm also a realist knowing that Gregg Williams will be blitzing 500 times tomorrow  -  Matt Forte may have a HUGE day as well, fantasy owners.

In 20 seasons of watching football Cutler is the best quarter back I have seen the Bears have. He's a good player and will get better. At the same time, Drew Brees is one of the best quarter backs over those 20 seasons, period. The Saints are playing at home and are motivated. I give them the advantage.

Can't say this win wasn't slightly more satisfying than average.

Gave as much inside info as I could.   Atlanta is overrated and I think too many put too much stock in that Bears/Falcons game.

    Saints backers...

I guess they knew what they were doing with this line.     The Bears O-Line is still horrible.   They were in the game until that Cutler sack and fumble.

Capping a Bear's game is easier than most other teams.  Except for this Sunday's game.

W: @Dallas: Decent win. Took advantage of Romo throwing 2 INTs

W: GB: Green Bay still reeling from their early season injuries gave up 18 penalties for 150 yards and still only lost by 3.

L: @NYG: Giants pass rush destroyed their o-line and won 17-3, with 10 sacks.

    W: @Carolina: Jimmy Clausen/Matt Moore.

L: Seattle: Seahawks got 6 sacks and ran for over 100 yards to win fairly easily.

L: Washington: Deangelo Hall had 4 INTs against Cutler, basically just exploiting Cutler being Cutler.

W: @Buffalo: It was the 2010 Bills (0-8 at that point).

W: Minnesota: Favre threw 3 INTs, as he did every game last year.

W: @Miami: Nice lucky break to catch Thingpen as the Miami QB. He was hapless and Miami couldn't move the ball.

W: Philadelphia: This was their best win of the year. Quality win, no doubt about it. Not taking anything away from it.

W: @Detroit: Facing detroit with Drew Stanton as QB, another lucky break for them. Still had to come from behind in the 4th.

L: New England: Demolished, as they should have been.

W: @Minnesota: Favre went out early and Joe Webb took over. Oh yeah, Adrian Peterson was out.

W: NYJ: Solid win in a shootout with another defensive oriented team. One of two quality wins I credit them.

L: @GB: Played a gritty defensive game in a relatively respectable loss (considering they could have sat their starters) away to a division rival.

Won a playoff game at home against possibly the worst playoff team in NFL history, and then knocked out by the Packers.

In 5 of their 11 wins they played against a 2nd or 3rd string QB (not counting Vick). In another one, they played against a team that just lost their starting running back. Two others were against the Vikes at full strength and the Bills; hardly impressive.

They had two really good wins against the Eagles and Jets. And the last was against a frankly mistake-ridden Cowboys team.

This is not a team that deserves the respect of a normal #2 seed. If the Packers had not given away that first game against them, they don't even make the playoffs!

    They're not better this year.
Perfect call!  Why i bet und 8 1/2 this year.  If all that nonsense from last year evens out, along with their tough schedule, Bears will be fortunate to win 8.

The Bears are who I thought they were...      (THIS WEEK)
The Saints are who I thought they were...      (THIS WEEK - LOL)

    Easy pick, easy money.

What you saw WEEK 1 is not necessarily what you saw WEEK 2.
What you see WEEK 3 won't necessarily be what you saw WEEK 2.

I'll be taking an extra look at Hou +3.5 (Hou @ N.O.) and Chi +3.5 (GB @ Chi) as potential picks.

    Keep on truckin'....
