Kind of love that nobody has NE. Admittedly they've looked bad but they will win their division and have the 3 or 4 seed. If you are the one or two seed that is going to be a really shitty draw for you in the 2nd round.
Just saying...
YEAH I THINK PATS MAY MOVE INTO TOP 5 BEFORE SEASON IS OVER JUST LIKE GB WILL, RAVENS ARE TRENDING DOWN AFTER THE HOU BLOW OUT, BUT THEY DID BEAT PATS AND UNTIL NE FIGURES OUT THERE 4TH QTR ISSUES THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE A HARD TIME BEATING THE TOP TEAMS

I am the biggest Falcons fan but lets be realistic:
1: New York Giants: Clutch and elite QB, good run game, good defense. What else can you ask for?
2. Houston Texans: Decent QB (not proven), great zone blocking run game, and a good defense (was great when they had Cushing)
3. Atlanta Falcons: Becoming Elite QB and clutch in the fourth, average run game and a defense that's getting better under Mike Nolan but still not elite.
3. Chicago Bears: Knuckle head QB with a strong arm. Great run game and a great defense.
5. Green Bay Packers: Best Qb in the NFL, bad run game, and a defense that's injured but will be better when Woodson and Raji gets healthy.

This is my top although I would switch Bears and Packers. Bears are two games up on the Pack in that division, but I still think GB is the superior team (as evidenced by their matchup earlier this year.

I would agree with you but I think you are supposed to win divisional games at home. If Green Bay wins in Chicago then that is a different story.

The Patriots and the Packers are very overrated. At the moment, there is no way that either of these two team should be in the top five. Wake me when NE can play some defense. I'm also not impressed by the Packers defense, but i do believe that they're better than the Pats.

I agree
I'd put Pack at #6, but they could move up later on

1. Bears- All around best team in the game 2. Texans- Very good all around, D is a little bit behind Chicago 3. Falcons- Matty Ice is elite. At home, the best there is. 4. NYG- Eli is the best rd qb and 4th quarter qb in the game. D can be great 5. ??? SF/NE/GB... GB and NE are slowly finding their way. About to go on a run. SF, great team except for the QB. NEED a QB to win it all
Don't sleep on Denver quite yet. They still have to play a lot of the AFC West still
The Bears still don't protect Cutler when they face a good defense And Eli, Shaub and Ryan are all better Qb's When the Giants Dee line steps it up there is still no better team then the Giants. They keep winning with as many if not more injuries then most teams. You heard it here first. Stevie Brown will be in the pro-bowl.
He is always around the ball. Not sure how Kenny Philips will get his job back. Packers, Bears, N.E. still can't protect the QB.
Super Bowl champs are the best until someone else wins the SB. The other point never brought up about the Giants is how great their special teams is this year. Weatherford doesn't let anyone return his punts. David Wilson is great on kickoffs and Tynes is MONEY and consitantly sending kickoffs out of the endzone. Not to mention depth. By far the most at every position in the NFL except at the O-line.
The talk here should be about the 2nd best team. Which is close between the Bears, and Texans. The 49er scare me because I still think they have the best defense. I think the Falcons are improved but until they win at least one playoff game they don't get my respect. Unless I bet on them.
If the Bears stay healthy they can definitely compete but if Brandon Marshall or Forte get hurt they have majors problems. The Giants have played almost all year without Chris Canty, Hakeem Nicks, rocky Bernard and Kenny Phillips the last few weeks. I can go on all day about their depth at RB, WR, DL.

All this Giants love means one thing. They aren't winning it all this year. They got lucky in Dallas against a mediocre team with a terrible coach. And the only time the Giants do anything in the playoffs is when their fans write them off midway through the year and call for Coughlin to be fired.
Falcons look legit, as do the Bears and Niners (yeah, the Niners got spanked by the Giants, but the Giants are two inches from being 0-2 against Dallas. Shit happens.)

Chris Canty is average at best. You talk like he is the second coming of Bruce Smith or Reggie White.
Giants and Eli were terrible against Dallas. Other than the JPP int which was a great play, the rest of the turnovers were on the Cowboys.
Giants are overrated.

Here's where my quantitative rankings stand right now. All stats are up to date except for the Lions and Bears obviously. I might see the Bears slip a little in the rankings after only scoring 13 tonight. Lions will probably remain the same or move up just slightly.
#1San Francisco 49ers
#2Chicago Bears
#3Houston Texans
#4Green Bay Packers
#5Denver Broncos
#6Seattle Seahawks
#6Washington Redskins
#8New York Giants
#9New England Patriots
#10St. Louis Rams
#11Minnesota Vikings
#12Arizona Cardinals
#13Atlanta Falcons
#14Miami Dolphins
#15Tampa Bay Buccaneers
#16Baltimore Ravens
#17Dallas Cowboys
#18Detroit Lions
#19New York Jets
#20Carolina Panthers
#21Philadelphia Eagles
#22Pittsburgh Steelers
#23San Diego Chargers
#24Cincinnati Bengals
#25Oakland Raiders
#26New Orleans Saints
#27Tennessee Titans
#28Cleveland Browns
#29Indianapolis Colts
#30Jacksonville Jaguars
#31Buffalo Bills
#32Kansas City Chiefs
Rams over Miami.
Is that post a Halloween prank?

When the money is on the line the Giants are the best team. They rotate 8 defensive lineman. Most of which are better than everybody but Peppers on the Bears. Bears have done NOTHING!!
The Giants don't get their dick hard like they should every week but they know how to win. Still SB Champs and beat the shit out of everyones #1 in SF a few weeks back.
And they don't miss a beat with a ton of injuries.
Nicks, Blackburn, Canty, Bradshaw, Joseph, Austin , Rocky Bernard, Kenny Phillips. Keith Rivers, Amakumura, have all missed games this year. You wouldn't even know it by the way the way they just keep chopping wood.

The way the NFL is now you're probably right. A team like Seatle will probably win it all.
