I,M ON THE TITANS EARLY HERE,i know they are off a monday night win in the division,but i really like what i see from this unit,mainly their d has caught my eye,these guys are GOOD and they have some unknown names playing some solid ball,no holes out there and i just feel that KOLB will be in very tough here like he was back in week 1 against THE PACKERS,i believe the titans have won like 13 straight vs the nfc,they have already DUMPED THE GIANTS AND THE COWBOYS ON THE ROAD,now they get another nfc east opponent at home and i think their domination continues,i like the way coach FISHER STICKS TO THE RUN EVEN IF THEY START SLOW,opponents d eels it in the 4th,the titans lost to the broncos last time at home,a game i thought they should have won,i think they protect their backyard this time.

Titans coming off a divisional MNF game.
Kolb starting to look much more confident and comfortable running the eagles offense, he looked solid last week against the falcons throwing 23/29, 326 yds and 3 tds, the Titans passing D is isn't much better then the falcons, so what will the titans have that the falcons didn't? Why will this game be a bad game for him, whats so special about this game? Titans winning 13 straight against the nfc doesn't matter statistically if you tossed a coin and the last 13 times it landed heads does that mean the 14th time it will too? the last 13 teams they played in the nfc could have been really crappy teams too, it's a pretty useless statistic. NYG were terrible the first couple weeks up until they played and beat chicago, and Dallas is just plain outright terrible. Fisher sticking to the run game is pretty unremarkable too in that the same could be said how Andy Reid really likes to stick to the passing game. Finally the Titans "home field advantage" doesn't count for much if anything, all of their losses have come at home field while the eagles have won all of their road games, so there is no distinct advantage there. Also their two losses were at the hands of Big Ben-less steelers team and an ok denver broncos. There wins have come from a bad starting NYG team, a bad Dallas cowgirls team, the jaguars who are much better and ... the oakland raiders.
If you are betting based purely on this writeup I would strongly reconsider. Eagles +3 or even ML is a better play probably

I like Tennesee too, for alot of the same reasons. Titans have the most sacks in the league, and have 10 interceptions and 4 fumble recoveries. Titans have one of the best defenses in the NFL. Desean Jackson will be out for Philly, and even if he played I doubt they would be move the ball anyway.

I think the over in this game is the way to go.  Philly doesn't play the run too well and both teams can score some points.

Titans are ranked 23rd in the leagues for passing yards allowed, 3/4 of the eagles plays are passing. I don't think that would be worthy of the title "one of the best defenses in the nfl" they don't allow many points granted but "best" is a little excessive. As for Desean Jackson, his presence will be missed but there have only really been two games where he was a factor against detroit and jacksonville, the other 4 games he a a combined rec yds of 107. This year hasn't been his best, but he is a good receiver, point being his absence won't make that big of a difference

Vince Young had a several limp yesterday, and the Tennessean sports writers seem to figure he is less than a sure thing to play Sunday.   In addition Kerry Collins did not practice Wednesday because he hurt his finger throwing on the helmet of a Jaguar player.

Collins will probably play Sunday though at less than 100%.  The short week ans injury concerns makes this a no play for me.

I do hope the Titans win and cover.

THE PATS ARE GETTING 3 AT SD,how can i pass this up,the bolts have some serious issues,gates is banged up,floyd is out,kaeding is out,thier run game is not there and they are facing a club that is playing some quality football right now,i know the trend,the BOLTS START SLOW AND FINISH STRONG,well i,m not buying it,this club has beat the cards and jags at home,they just lost at oak and st.l,this is a soft numiber of games they have had and they have a bad record and now they are giving BRADY AND THE PATS A 3 SPOT,i gave the 3 back to the bolts and went with:

I think it will be better for the iggles to game plan against the Titans if Collins is starting. If VY don't play, I got a lean on Philly w/Kolb behind the helm.

kolb won,t get the job done and CHRIS JOHNSON WILL HAVE A SOLID GAME,i just do NOT see the titans d allowing the birds to move the ball well enough,the titans DO NOT lose 3 straight at home,gl to you
