Cardinals 4 1/2

Cardinals 4 1/2
Early looks:
Dolphins OV 9.5
Cowboys OV 9.5
Jags OV 9.5
Pats UN 7.5
Buccs UN 6.5
Worthy of consideration:
Eagles UN 10.5
Colts UN 6.5
Packers UN 7.5
Will narrow it down to 4 or 5. Hit 5-0 on win totals last year, and I expect nothing less this year. Dolphins OV 9.5 is one of the biggest gifts I've seen in 30 years of betting on sports.

1) Atlanta under 8.5. They have gotten to 9 wins just twice in the last decade. I am ok losing this bet. As much as I like the kid Heinicke to take over under center because Ridder will have a short leash, I just think the team in general will struggle to get to 9. Quite an ambitious number by the books imo.
2) Titans over 7.5. They have gotten to 8 wins in 6 of the last 7 campaigns. Winnable games vs Tamps, Cleveland, Pitt, Carolina and they play Indy/Houston 4 times. Maybe split with the Jags and there are your 8 wins.
3) Commies over 6.5. They have gotten to 7 wins in 8 of the last 11 years. QB questions, but otherwise solid squad in a less than scary NFC. Winnable games against Atlanta, Rams, Denver, Arizona, Chicago.....not to mention the division just beats up on each other. 7 wins doesn't seem out of line to me.
bet on a couple others but those are my faves.

@bigred84
I would be amazed if Tannehill doesn't start and play all year.
I would also be amazed if Jacoby Brisset doesn't eventually get in there and make things ugly. (meaning barfight trench games that I think the Commies will do well in) Howell is also slightly bigger than Heinicke, who made me a good chunk of money last year. Felt like every week I was on auto bet with Commies and Lions.
who knows. still early. injuries-a-plenty

They tried to run Tannehill outta town last year....
Willis was clueless...Now Levis will take over in time....
Brisket finds ways to win games ..big guy....
Defense might save their asses...

I think the Titans will waive the white flag early and tank...Tannehill is not the future and is the last year of his contract and they are not resigning him...They just opt to see what Levis has...Its about the future for them...

Disagree. They still have Henry. QB in their last year tend to showcase for their free agency. Levis, like Tre Lance, was a wasted pick. Neither are NFL caliber.

Tannehill is nothing more than an above average game manger...He is decent but cannot carry the team.. If the Titans thought highly of him they would have extended him already...U don't let your QB go into his last year of his contract...He choked in the playoffs big time 2 years ago...and the year before in the AFC ship game..

What is wrong with an "above average" (your words) game manage when you have Henry. Levi is a dud.

What is wrong with above average? He will be 35 years old when the season starts and the Titans know what they have in him...They will never win a SB with him so why stick with him? Henry is on his last leg about to hit 30 and with tons of mileage...They are most likely not resigning him as well..They would trade him if they could get a decent return but no team wants Henry and his $10 Million salary and have to build a dinosaur offense around him and play to his strengths..Henry is NOT an every down back..He is not good at running routes or catching the ball out of the backfield...Titans offense is built around Henry and Playing solid defense and having Tannehill manage the game and make an occasional play...Both QB and RB are gone after next year...so why not build for the future now and get a high draft pick next season..Can the Titans go 9-8..Sure..But what is the point in that? if they were smart they would tank for Caleb Williams..
