Last year results:
123 - 49    71.5%   ...juice from 49 losses just -7,949

My capping method requires cumulative and sufficient stats/results before considering a bet (other than LIVE bets) Typically this means observing/analyzing September games before beginning in earnest in October (usually week 6 has been my best starting line) This "patient delay" is common for all my sports/leagues - and it has improved my annual bottom line profits significantly.

an_ref  Ergo, Week 1 is a crapshoot!

 

All we can do is make "guesses" based on last year's results, off-season personnel changes, and current injury status of key players. And like all guessing, some win, some lose.

an_shake I will not force pre-game bets in my first few weeks, as I would be operating without stats/results that are needed to support my bet. (ie, roulette wheel guessing)

 

cool  However, to determine if my capping logic and "educated guesses" are at least  LEANING in a positive direction I have circled several teams/lines as LEANS (ie, could be promising, but not enough to warrant a pregame bet)

These are my anticipated mismatches that I have "circled" for Week 01 LEANS, which may or may not become LIVE bets: (no particular order)
Tampa, Miami, Wash ml, Cinci ml, Seattle, Denver ml, Rams, Buffy, Minny
