Agree with alot of that, But i also know SHITLOADS about the NBA and basketball.... That makes it a HUGE advantage over the bookies...

Personally Referee's decide gamesores alot of the time.  Not saying their always rigged, but some refs just call the game at different paces...

If you do your homework covers rookies there is more consistent trends in Refereeing than there is in Game Results...

you might want to read a few of this guy's posts and threads before you believe (or care!) that he has been doing this for 23 years......

Im not a professional sports bettor, I dabble.  However, I make my living as a poker player... Making a living as a poker player teaches you many things, the most important of which is how to read people.  And what I am reading here is that you are not a professional gambler.

First off, why would you announce it and ask others to identify themselves to you?  I can tell the difference between people who play poker and poker players within 2 minutes of seeing them, it seems like If you are a professional, you can recognize other professional sports bettors.

Secondly, you instantly got defensive when someone questioned you.  What does it matter if a novice doesnt believe you?  It just seems like you are out for credibility and acceptance more so than information and tips from peers.

Thirdly and finally, professional sports bettors dont make a living on parlays.  The bookies make a living off of people playing parlays.

Just my thoughts on the matter.

professional gambling is very doable just a high stress job especially if you have a family to provide for.

I would love to do it as the last 6 months I have made close to 30k, but if i throw in last march i lost 10k as it was the squarest tourney I had ever seen it almost always will equal out and I am a contrarian type player...

I know one thing about gambling. Just when you think youve found a system or a theory I goes right down the drain the very next day.

I'm no pro but I'm a gambler. I wager no more than $100 per game and I believe alot  of games are rigged. I've learned to watch for those games  and its been funny. This past football season was prime example..

Good luck to you bro, but there are some real pros here and some real clownz too. Don't get discouraged about the clownz, It's what theyre good at.

You can start with any bankroll but it will take a long time to get up to $500 per game... I personally dont work of a BANKROLL. I parlay alot and being a pro i lay ALOT of different bets across various sports (80% NBA - 10% Australian football -  10% other) so its hard to set a % limit on plays... Saying that, it is VERY important to rate your plays and not get crazy like MANY do on this site (which is why i started this thread to question peoples integrity....)

You built up to a 16K bankroll and then took out a 5K loan??? Why?  I am definitely not a professional gambler but I have never heard of one who parlays a lot and doesn't have a sound money management system for their bankroll like you.  I'm calling bullshit.

It's about experience and time. I think almost anyone here could do this professionally, but you have to have a good frame of reference built up when you approach the lines. You learn to recognize a trap line and watch for suspicious line moves to tip you off.

Learning to cap the games is (for me) mostly just a matter of spending a lot of time immersed in the sport. I only cap the NBA because it is all the time I have. You gotta learn to limit your action and "play within yourself." I don't bet on teams or sports that I don't know well.

I record box scores every night; watch one game (and maybe highlights) about every day. With that, I can just look at the card and spot the games that I like. I don't spend a lot of time pouring over stats, ATS records, etc.

I win $10,000 or more a season, and am pretty happy with that. I don't want to add another sport. I have a balanced life and like it.

I think you can call yourself a "pro" if you bet for a side income. The thing is to be disciplined and bet for a profit; not for fun.

Personally Referee's decide gamesores alot of the time.  Not saying their always rigged, but some refs just call the game at different paces...

If you do your homework covers rookies there is more consistent trends in Refereeing than there is in Game Results...

Bullshit! keep it simple ,cap each line. one or a few will make sense. Bet them and money will come.

I might lose today, but i put my $$$$ where my mouth is, unlike 90% of this forum...

i doubt anyone in here is a pro gambler - and if they say they are, they are probably telling lies. most people in here probably have an interest in the sports they are betting on and do it for entertainment with the hope of making afew bucks.

in the long run - the house always wins.
