I'm liking a lot of games today. I think it's going to be a very good day.
Today's plays:
76ers -4: Lakers on the road versus one of the best teams in the league. I started off slow on the Sixers, but I'm buying in, and selling the Lakers on the road. Happy to lay just 4.
Wizards -4: The Wizards have so much more talent than the Raptors. Sure they still sucks, but there's still distance between the teams here. Plus home court.
Clippers -1: I'm selling the Magic and buying the Clippers. Happy to have this at a virtual PK. Magic have been looking better than the D-league team they were for a little while there, but they've only looked good against bottom tier teams, and the Pacers. The Clippers have been playing some great ball lately.
Knicks -3: I'm buying in on Jeremy Lin. I'm not saying he's their all powerful savior, but this team has so much talent, if they get one guy to be the glue, they can be scary. If he plays HALF as well as he played against the Nets, they should cruise in this one. I actually think the injection of some emotion from Amare's brother's death will be worth more than Amare himself tonight.
Spurs PK: The Spurs have been playing so good lately, and Memphis looks lost out there half the time. I'm looking for Tony Parker to continue his ridiculously hot ways. and Splitter should be a solid matchup for Gasol.
Houston +7: This is an unreasonable line with Nene out. He's a huge part of their success. I'm sorry, but Al Harrington and Kosta Koufos are just not going to replace him.
Thunder -1: I really like the thunder to bounce back tonight after an embarrassing performance on Saturday. The Blazers are decent, but without Felton they're significantly worse. I think Westbrook will have a big night tonight, and I like the Thunder front court physicality to put a damper on old man Camby's ridiculous rebounding.
