WED Night Boston vs Cavs

Boston just gave max effort on opening night to beat the Heat, and now have to travel to Cleveland and catch the Cavs trying to prove  that they can win without King James.

Cavs get it done here, and Boston has a letdown.

Rod, not a letdown on a physical level, but one on focus.

There aren’t many opportunities to capitalize on a wild

card like Griffin on a home underdog favorably matched

He’s playing his first real NBA game. But, he’s good, and

relatively unaccounted for in the line. Last night, Phoenix

couldn’t adjust late to the scoring of Portland’s Nicolas

Batum. Tonight, Portland may not adjust early or late to

the Clippers’ match-up edge.

I live and work in downtown Cleveland and the mood here is cautious optimism.  We do expect them to be at least a solid .500 on the season with a lot of young athletes that can run an older team off the floor.  I hope you're correct with your pick tonight, but my advice is to watch this team play for about 3 weeks to have a better understanding their identity.  There's still much to be seen before handicapping this team.
