not sure what planet it was you saw the rockets win 60 games last season or portland at 56 for that matter, but i do like the pick. portland will be seeking some redemption over last years playoff exit to houston, even though it's quite a different roster they'll be facing. i'd rather lay the first half number which should be -5 than 9.5 for the whole game. good luck sir.

ummm I think you're failing to account for that 60 win Houston team missing Yao Ming, Ron Artest, and Dikembe Mutombo (I tihnk he retired last year). But it's a crap shoot to see how the team plays without em. This line is all based on public perception. I'm interested to see what kinda team Houston is with only Tracy Mcgrady.

I don't know how much blazer basketball you watched last year but they were absolutely horrid in the first half of games. If anything I would feel more confident playing them -9.5 for the full game rather than -5 to start the half. For all you blazer backers I would strongly suggest to play them 2nd half as they will most likely by up or down somewhere around 3, if not tied.

Portland i feel will have early issues tryin to get all the talented people the ball and chemistry and rotations worked out esp at SF
but they are deep and loaded....by mid season they will be a western conference force
no feel for this game...slight lean over but will wait and see
