What if this is actually Good news to the Celtics? JT is a great player no doubt but..... these Celtics played so much better with JB with the rest of the guys all season! 

Boston, which led this series 3-1 before Philadelphia won Game 5 here Tuesday and Game 6 back in Philly on Thursday, has gone 32-0 in its history when leading 3-1 in a best-of-seven series. The 76ers, on the other hand, are 0-18 when facing that scenario -- the worst mark in NBA history.

Additionally, I ALWAYS fade the late scratch team. Doesn’t always win but this shits all fucking set up, announcements, player availability, line movement….how often do you see a marquee name in terms of availability and the movement as a whole is a fade straight up.

 This is not good news.  This keeps oubre on JB and PG can stand around with Hauser now.  Before, Oubre would have been on Tatum with JB matched up against VJ who plays terrible D.

It's a little more complicated than that. Tatum missed the first 62 games of the season from his torn Achilles from last season. The team makes these decisions based on many factors, not the least of which is the possibility to cause further injury. The Celtics have a lot of money invested in Jason Tatum. He is not just sitting out the game because he has "a sore fucking knee."
