I like the Bulls and the under.  The celtics are 50-30 while Atl is 52-29. If Boston wins the reaming games and the Hawks lose their last game they will have the same record. Does Boston get the 3(if they end season tied with Hawks) seed despite losing to the season series to the Hawks b/c they will be division champs? If that's the case I'd probably not play the Bulls here but I don't think that's the case. The 3 seed is very valuable as I'm sure teams would love to play a Bogut - less Bucks(6th seed) in the 1st round.

Respectfully disagree . I think the Celtics would ideally like to have the 3 seed as they could possibly sweep the Bogut-less bucks and any veteran team would LOVE to have the rest.  I hear you about them wanting the Cavs to play the Bulls and not the Raptors.

That's what I thought. I will stick to the under in this game and will not be taking Bulls to cover. Atlanta will beat the cavs tmrw so it won't matter but this is a danger zone as we have no idea what boston is thinking.

Realize the "no difference if we're seeded 3rd or 4th angle." Makes sense.

But what about the "key player out, team covers" angle? That's always been "money" in pro sports bettin.

I've seen a lot of teams "needing" a win that haven't gotten it.

With the Big Ticket out, will take 4.5....I used to lose a lot bettin against this angle, thinking (logically ?) that the team in question can't possibly be as good with their best player out.

Boston can't get the 3rd spot. If they tie the Hawks, the Hawks go because of the tie-breakers. I heard KG was not playing because they gain nothing with victories. I've bet a Bulls cover. That is win by at least 7 so they can't be taken by two 3pt. shots. They are on my parlay ticket as -5.

Unlike the Bulls, the Celtics are already assured of returning to the postseason thanks to their third straight Atlantic Division title. If Boston wins its final two games and Atlanta loses to Cleveland on Wednesday, the Celtics would get the No. 3 seed while the Hawks would end up fourth......

So if Boston wins 2 and Atlanta loses 1, and the records are tied 52-30, atlanta gets the third spot based on tie-breakers: they have a 3-0 record against Boston. Boston can't get 3rd place no matter what.

My understanding, which may be wrong, is that the head-to-head

was tie breaker #1. Are you saying that if the records are tied then the division winner gets the nod?

If you are in the Boston area or have access to their TV, what are they saying about KG playing tonight?
