This is why I bet to win series and futures at least I have a shot

People that took Spurs 1st 2nd game lost fortune..betting to win series gives you opportunity and you dont waste your money game after game. Problem is most of bettors cant wait.

If you took the spurs to win the series you have no shot. They probably won’t win a game

 you never know..if I took them 1st and 2nd game I would be already in big deficit.

result is the same you lost whatever your bet was it just takes longer for the loss to finish. Much more likely to get swept than win the series

 True, however, I think there’s opportunities everyday, you just need to improve the process in how you make choices.  It takes time and effort .    Hope it works out for ya .

 The DOWNSIDE of betting futures are unforeseen injuries.  I lost huge on my OKC future's bet...oh, besides the fact that Chet NEVER showed up...hehehehehe!!!  

I’m definitely a futures guy. My mistake was greed. I took Knicks winning 4-3 at +700. I didn’t think the Knicks could win in 6. Now it’s likely they win in 5 or 6. Right team. Just greed. 

You can simply hedge by taking Knicks now. Bet them ML at home and spread when at Spurs as needed if you think its a forgone conclusion Knicks win. Thats the good thing

Futures have 1 very big advantage. You are not betting daily and upping the ante. People lose at sports betting because they have no money management skills. They will bet paycheck to paycheck. My advice for what it is worth is set a predetermed amount that losing the future bet will not change your life. 

Its not that easy. No one knows exactly if or when the Knicks will win. They could lose the next two at home. 

I know MLB and the NBA are totally 2 different sports  ... but I remember the 2019 World Series. The home team lost all 7 games!
