ABC accidentally aired a promotional advertisement for a Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks Eastern Conference Finals matchup before the Cavaliers had actually advanced. The promo ran on the morning of Saturday, May 16, 2026, despite the Cavaliers still being tied in a second-round series with the Detroit Pistons, who face them in a decisive Game 7 on Sunday night.

Nah they knew Detroit was a terrible team so they figured the result ahead of time
